  1. Given the build criteria of a short time frame and budget its not surprising that the car has rough edges. I think the car is cool. What I would really like to see is someone do one with shiny finish and lots of fine detail.
  2. Very cool. Would love to see more.
  3. Coming along nicely.
  4. Just looked at the uncertain t page by Steve Scott. Been more than a year since the last update. Webpage is also been broken for a while. He has a Facebook page but I don't do Facebook . Does any body know any more information on this project?
  5. Congrats on winning an award at the nnl east.
  6. I concur on using part of the 58 for the front grill. The last two options don't really suit the roof and rear piece.
  7. Until May 8 nothing is going to happen until ownership changes. No sense for the new owners to do anything until they actually own Revell. Hopefully then will have have a better idea of what is planned.
  8. So was the vega in competition. Did it win any awards?
  9. Thank you for taking the time to post the pictures looks like a great show.
  10. Ray, One thing you could do is look at some y8utube videos to help with the rigging.
  11. So the big question is did you finish? Saw some show pictures and the Vega looks great!!
  12. This makes sense. The deal has not been finalized. Don't see how the group has the right to made this decision until things are final. Once things are final we are going to hear something until then we will have to wait.
  13. Ray, Looks good so far. Looking forward to seeing more. Hope you are having fun with this despite some of the challenges.
  14. Dave I concur. This is a tremendous loss for the hobby and the Revell USA employees.
  15. At this point its going to take some time before all the dust settles. Will be waiting to hear news on the next step. No sense in meaningless conjecture at this point.
  16. Very cool project. Looks great.
  17. First to all the Revell USA employees impacted by this good luck in finding new employment. When I was in electronics there were periodic downsizing that I was caught in. However to have the horse shot in this manner is really tough. We will just have to wait to see the outcome on this. However if I don't buy any new kits there is no hazard of me running out of kits and projects in my lifetime.
  18. Thanks Eric. Will have to try it out.
  19. Nice work on the front. You really have come up with a great concept. You have done a great job integrating all the elements for the theme without it looking goofy. Looking forward to more.
  20. Very cool. Rat rods have given us a way to utilize parts for some very imaginative builds.
  21. Nice work on the interior. What glue do you use for piping? What is your process for gluing the piping?
