    Ray if y8u look at the edges of the sails of the picture I posted . Along the edges the material is folded over. If you do that and glue the overlap the edges shouldn't fray.

    Ray try a google search on sailing ships. Here is one picture that looks close.

    Ray for the sails I suggest using a file card to make patterns. Also finding some reference pictures should also help. You'd think that you would have been given a little more to work with. However I know you will get a handle on it.

    4When I worked in the electronics industry I saw products that came up short because somebody created an unrealistic dateline for making a show. The product failed to meet its potential because of that. If this new company wants to impress everyone then they need to deal with these issues before pushing these kits out. Otherwise I see them not being successful. For the price they want they need to get. Why is there never time to do things right the first time but always time to fix them.

    I think that as far as responding to old posts people don't stop to ask the question if the op is still around. Not much can really be done about it. As far as culling out old dead threads is not really practical. It would take a lot of time for very little benefit. I think the mods have better things to do with their time.

    Yup know what you mean about not being enough time. The extension to that seems if you don't have the time then you have the money to do stuff and or you have mo meney but plenty of time.
