  1. Wow such hostility. I have only made the observation and that so many have opinions on how models can be done better. And that someone should take the challenge to show how its done. If its that easy then surely someone will do it. Don't see how my comment has anything to do with whether I buy this kit or not. Or what I think of it.
  2. Hey write a good proposal. Use kickstart or some other crowdfunding and go for it. In fact let me know what crowdfunding you are using so I can contribute.
  3. Unfortunately those cans of propellants really don't work that well. They cool down when being used and you are lucky to get one model painted. You are much better off to get a compressor.
  4. I don't understand. in this thread and others they are always the complaints how this or that aspect of a model is wrong. Obviously there are people who feel it can be done better. Surely one of those people could take the challenge and show how its done!
  5. Its a shame that none of those who feel that they know how to develop and sell a kit doesn't step up to the plate to show everyone how it should be done! It would demonstrate to all that it can be done.
  6. The answer to why is you would make fewer factual errors if you had the kit you were talking about in hand.
  7. So how are you doing a review of a kit when you don't have one? To review something you should have one in your possession.
  8. You are doing a review of the kit. What slicks are in the kit?
  9. So Regular guy what slicks are in your kit you posted in your first post?
  10. In regards tovthe 57 Ford the kit has posable wheels not steerage. If they were steerage you would turn the wheel.
  11. Well done. Don't see many Willys with sixs. Nice work on the paint.
  12. Nicely done. Looks great.
  13. Nice job. But it isn't a cobra.
  14. It used to be a mans word meant something was the rule rather than the exception. More telling is we live in an age where some claim there are alternate facts. A very sad commentary on the world. Unfortunately I see things getting a lot worse before that get better.
  15. The Bossa Nova hemi is the same as the hemi in the Double dragster kit.
  16. Instead of directly saying that he is cheating I would say that his inaccurate counting can appear to some as cheating. And that you are sure that it is not his intention. This gives him a way to save face but for you to make him aware that his counting is becoming an issue. Just a thought.
  17. Some great looking engines.
  18. Cool. Will be fun watching. Glad you are building it.
  19. The answer is maybe. You really want to test your primer on some of the sprue to see if it will craze otherwise you could have an issue. There have been several posts recently that the newer kits and the current primers don't always play together. Better to test than to ruin a kit.
  20. Nice work Ray. Wonder number cobra is this. Glad to see you are building again.
  21. Wow. Amazing update. Now I know why the fireworks were going off last night.
  22. The Revell ad is incorrect in its usage of scratchbuilt. Scratchbuilding is making parts from raw materials. The part packs allowed you to create your own kit. The AMT engine parts packs had a Chrysler Hemi, Corvair, 283 chevy, Pontaic 421, and Allison. There never was a 427 Cammer in the AMT parts packs.
