  1. No providing a product that the consumer wants is basic retail is all about, if its not what they want they aren't going to buy it and your business is going to fail.
  2. Nicely done. The weathering is nicely done. Unique approach to a racer.
  3. Its sad when we have to tell people the obvious but I guess that's why we have warning messages that food put is a microwave w7ll be hot. Would have hecer guessed!!
  4. Nice work. Impressive fabrication.
  5. Nice work on saving the Jcar. I've got the Ford GT, Lola, and Chaparral to do one of these days.
  6. Coming along nicely at the typical lighting fast build rate. Always fun to watch your builds.
  7. Regular guy don't understand why you asked a question you already know the answer to. For everybody else there was only one hemi piranha. It was a match race and exhibition car. If it crashed they would have to fix it. There were no trailers full of spare chassis and parts. Its sole purpose was to get free press for AMT.
  8. I believe it is more consistent to call the hemi Piranha a dragster. The logic to calling it a funny car was dragsters have done the quarter mile at 200mph whereas no funny cars had done it yet. I was simply a way to get more mention in press.
  9. It came out great. Nice weathering job.
  10. Love nice. Happy to see it finished. Great body work and color.
  11. I disagree that the Foose Caddy is a one and done. Case in point the Boyd Smoothster. The original kit was a convertible. Testors did a coupe and van from the kit. Also when Roth fell out of favor with Revell there were numerous variations done on his kits. No reason the same thing couldn't be done with the Caddy.
  12. Very cool. Love it. A really sweet little rod.
  13. Love it. Nice work.
  14. A while back there was a thread looking for proposals for new kits. To my knowledge nothing ever happened. Want a particular kit. Do some research on the subject matter. An all new tooling is going to have to have broad appeal, be able to support several variations(ie Revell 1957 Ford kit). The better the proposal the better chance for said kit to be a reality.
  15. Another option would be the Amt 41 woodie. I has finned valve covers.
  16. Still has the problem.
  17. Use a piece of masking tape or get some alumunium tape to use as a a guide. It helps keeping the blade from wandering.
  18. I just tried and am also getting a blank page.
  19. Making money is not a bad thing. You picked a reasonable price to sell. There have been some ebay and amazon postings for $400. The problem in my opinion is when stupid crazy prices come up it creates an unrealistic expectation for what something is worth and others think that that is what they have is worth. However the true price for anything is what someone is willing to pay for it and not what somebody has sold it for.
  20. Glad to see this back. Very cool build.
  21. Very cool. Nice job.
  22. A well deserved award. Looking forward to seeing it in person at GSL.
