  1. Nice work reassembling the Stutz. Sure you weren't expecting to get a kit in the mail. Fortunately there was no damage paint.
  2. A tour de force of scratchbuilding. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the painting process.
  3. The sole function of the forum is to provide an environment for exchanging information about model cars and trucks. For me this is an oasis so that I can avoid the craziness of the world today. There are plenty of other venues for other topics. Facebook and Twitter are open forums for all topics including religion and politics.
  4. Very cool project. Nice fab work. Definitely a project to follow.
  5. Coming along nicely. Like the way you've used the gears. Some interesting ideas.
  6. Nicely done. Great weathering.
  7. Sharp looking.
  8. Nice start. Are the whitewalls in the kit?
  9. I also try to minimize the amount of filler by using super glue and sheet plastic to build up areas and the bondo spot putty in super thin coats.. it assure fewer issues down the road
  10. 12th scale maverick funny car monogram.
  11. Impressive work. Both the model and the photography.
  12. Cool. Great concept and execution. Love that its lightly weathered.
  13. John McCain a true American hero and patriot. A man who put others before himself. Something a that unfortunately very rare in a world of me first today.
  14. Great color. Nice work on the interior.
  15. Are you thinking gasser version only or any style?
  16. To my knowledge Dave is trying to fix this. From my experience intermittent problems of this type are extremely difficult to find. There is some sequence of events that is causing the problem. At this point getting as much info to Dave will help the cause. I understand you are frustrated.
  17. Cool. Interesting project.
  18. Cool. Great color.
  19. Cool. Love it. Great color choice.
  20. I am curious how you think no box art is going to have such an impact on the retail price. Current msrp is around $30 . There is no way the box art costs half of the kits price.
  21. There are limitations on box art today because of truth in advertising laws. That why new box art has pictures of the actual models on them. The retro box art is the exception. However with the internet it is easy to get reviews that show you whats in a kit
  22. Stunning paint. Crisp realistic details. Nice job.
