  1. Looks good. Think you made the right choice by sticking to the original plan and do it box stock.
  2. Dan you ought to get a wood plaque and glue all the pieces on it and hang it in your hobby room. Title it art from destruction.
  3. Simple problem to solve. $1000 fine for first offense. 2nd offense treated like a DUI.
  4. Stunning model. You have impressive weathering skills. Always a treat to view your work.
  5. That is so wild. And its amazing its based on an actual vehicle rather than someones imagination of a vehicle. Keep up the good work.
  6. Its also easy to guess why she was fired from her last job.
  7. Nice. Cool project. I know you are going to knock this out of the park.
  8. What process do you do for paint prep? On most bodies there is a slight raised edge along the panel lines. If you don't sand the body and knock down those edges the paint will pull back. That's what I've found in my case.
  9. Came out great. I'm curious if you did any mods for attaching the front axle. Would please show a picture of the front axle setup. Thanks.
  10. When I talk a hobby being fun I mean you have to enjoy what you are doing. If you enjoy whimsical then do it , if you enjoy ultra realistic then do that. Don't fell obligated to do something to please someone else if that isn't the way you want to do it. If you don't get pleasure from what you do then its time to find another hobby.
  11. Nice job. Great save by changing direction and weathering it. Very realistic weathering. Some times a model tells you how it want to be finished.
  12. Love it. Great idea using the duct tape. Instead of getting discouraged you found a creative way to hide the problem.
  13. Some lose sight that a hobby is supposed to be fun. Whimsical is always an option. I enjoy looking at a wide range of modeling expression from the whimsical to the ultra realistic. Life would be boring if everybody did the same thing.
  14. One hazard to watch out for is getting an infection due to the numbness. I have type 2 diabetes. Was having issues with hammer toes. Has my general practioner refer me to a foot Dr.. He did a check to see how good the feeling in my feet were. I'm lucky I don't have issues. However the foot doctor said he said he has a lot of diabetes patients that have severe infections because of numbness. Be sure to check your feet regularly to make sure you have no issues.
  15. Great set. I think a pickup would have been a better choice for the tow vehicle. Maybe the 53 ford pickup. Would be hard to bring tools and parts with the stock piranha.
  16. It doesn't matter how much work you put in it or if you got paid. Buying a piece of art entitles you to own it and display it but not to take credit for the work done. Exactly.
  17. Exactly!! Any site has rules, that is not censorship. It is your choice whether you want to accept those rules. The government telling you what you can and cannot say is trampling your right of free speech.
  18. Great pictures. Those should be in your build book for this masterpiece.
  19. Its beautiful work. However it really should be painted becuase no altered would have a brass chassis. Second for the period the frame would have been painted. No finishing frames has only been a recent thing. However its your model and you should finish as you think it looks best.
  20. Love it cool project.
  21. Yes 205 is the last issue. Here is the latest update MCM status
