Great project. Somehow missed this one. Very nice work. Love the old style dragsters. If revell still has tge moldscthey are missing out on a winner. The parts packs might not woek but the kit format would be great.

Hay any update is a good update. What glue did you use for the fasteners.? How did you keep from using too much and have it show?

I know of a friend who ordered from a resin caster and it took forever. Said vendor was happy to cash the checks in the mail but would go to shows and sell whatever stock he had and send the product when he got around to it. With the exception of a few resin casters you are better off if you canbuy at shows. That way you can see the product quality and get it right away. Otherwise buy it from ebay.

I think part of the problem is that he over chopped the roof. It really messes up the proprtions. However he is pleased with the car and it is his car.

Nice start. To answer the question not all of the 427 Cobra had the scoop. I was doing some rearch and found cobra csx3102 did not have the scoop. My guess is the car that MPC used to measure was one of those cars.
