    In the right setting it looks real. The weathering really makes it look like it's real.

    Looking good. One thing I've found to help with detail painting is to use a lacquer for the base and then water based acrylics over that. If you don't like how it looks you can use a qtip with water and redo it.

    Krylon makes a maxx clear matt and gloss. You'd have to do a spoon test to see if you need primer.
