  1. Well too many kits that have been started and close to being painted to start another project. Have 2 AMT 1968 Roadrunners that have been started - one is pro street and the other has a stock chassis. Have gotten the engines glued together today and the rear axles assembled. Next up is to paint the chassis satin black and get the bodies painted. Well too many kits that have been started and close to being painted to start another project. 2. Joe sorry not my intent to offend. Just cynical as to the intent of WB. Big corporations are always in it for the almighty dollar.
  3. Ray I don't see it as PC. Nobody does anything unless it benefits them especially big corporations. This has been all orchestrated to play the suckers.
  4. Gotta hand it to WB sales were lackluster and they took the opportunity to regenerate interest. Since this is voluntary they can akways bring it back. Gotta love the stupid prixes on the diecast and glue kits alone.
  5. All engines have to have the heads staggered because the rods can't be in the same place.
  6. I agree lets keep the silliness out of this or this thread will be the 7th thread to be locked or deleted.
  7. So the question I have for all in panic buying mode. If you are going to make the killing if the online auction sites aren't going to allow you to see them. I know its a silly question because its way too logical.
  8. You got that right. Case in point pet rocks.
  9. A fool and his money are soon parted. Just proves the adage there's a sucker born every minute. Sort of like all the idiots who bought beany babies becuase they were told they were collectable.
  10. For me the clue was the headlights. I always try to look for things that are difficult to get the right thickness in scale.
  11. Nice work. Don't be so hard on yourself you do nice work.
  12. Very nice. Wow that candy red is great. I did one a while back and had to spend a bunch of time ddoing body work.
  13. So what are your plans for this one?
  14. You got it. Looks great to me.
  15. Nice work. Love the color choices. Super clean.

  17. I would suggest making a list of everything you need to fix on the car. Break each task into two catagories - parts and labor. Research what parts are going to cost. Labor can you perform the task. Is it something you can do or learn. Do you know how to weld. Are you good enough to do structural welding. Remember your safety is at risk. If not how much will that cost. If you still think you can do it you need to determine if the rust has compromised the structure of the vehicle. Also when you total up all the costs how are you going to get the money and how long will it take. I would recommend doing this for any project. A little planning will save you money and frustration.
  18. Anything artistic develops with practice. To me skills are things like painting and detailing. Talent is being able to look at something and be able to visualze how to make it happen. You either have talent or you don't.
  19. They are still countingbthe ballots a few had hanging chad. LOL
  20. The original van was gray. The black version is from the movie they did a humber of years back.
  21. The grey on top is how I remember it. If you google it you see it that way also.
  22. You are looking at a money pit. Find a solid car you can start with. With the rust you are trying to buikd a house on quicksand.
