  1. Great color, I like this a lot.
  2. I need to change my build from a 1950 3100 to a 1955 Cameo. I hope this doesn't cause you a problem, sorry.
  3. Got this one done except for the rear bumper. Did not notice that omission untill I was taking pictures.

You can put me down for a Flatheads Rule, Black, 2x.
  5. A car that was built with Hot Rodding in mind. Love the flames.
  6. Made out of plastic, metal, wood or jello if it is made to look like a real car then it is a model.
  7. All the members here share the same love of this Hobby. But we all have different tastes, different likes. There are certain cars that are just simply timeless in my opinion. 1927 Model T 1932 Five Window Coupe 1940 Ford Coupe 1949 Mercury 1941 Willy's 1950 Ford 1955/56/57/59 Chevy 1956 Ford. These are just some of what I consider the best cars ever built, from a performance and styling view point. What are YOUR classics??
  8. The best laid plans of mice and men.
  9. Ok, the 51 Chevy is back in the box as is the 61 Catalina, for now. Got out this 1940 Ford and got started on it this afternoon.
  10. That is one fantastic build. The Paint job and graphics are awesome. Good Job.
  11. I just recently got back into modeling and so far have had nothing but problems. I was building a 62 421 SD and lost not one both both upper control arms. Ok, can't build that one. Then I started on a 1951 Chevy, got it painted, interior done only to find out that the frame is warped and twisted. Ok, can't build that one either. Didn't throw them away, that's different would have years ago.
  12. I don't know how you do it. Another perfect model. Even the pipes look as if they have had heat in them. Amazing, I'm in awe .
  13. I like this. Nice clean build, engine detail and a good paint job. I hope to get this good someday.
  14. Earlier this year I had an eye exam and was told I need tri-focals. Ok, I'm getting older and my eye sight is changing no problem. When I got the glasses made I had them make two pair. One pair with the regular lenses and Bi-Focal prescription and one pair with the Tri-Focal lense. When I am modeling I was having trouble seeing some things, small details. Finally thought of Tri-Focal glasses and solved the problem. Like a friend told me a long time ago. Too soon old, to late smart.
  15. Simply amazing.
  16. I love the 33, it looks like a good clean build with a real nice paint job. But I would darn near kill for that 56.
  17. If those are the types of remarks that are made at Model Car Shows perhaps I better not go to Toledo next month.
  18. I can't remember what I had for supper last night, but my favorite model as a child was the AMT 40 Ford.

    Jantrix' Jalopy

I would be a happy camper if I had a real one like that. I can see it now, A whiye Pearl paint job, rolled and pleated interior, and a 289 engine. Gotta think of gas mileage.
  20. I have one that is blue and one that is a maroon red.
  21. I have several acrilyics (?) but they sure don't seem to cover very well using a brush
  22. What else would I use. I really don't know.
  23. Sunday afternoon, late, I painted some interior parts with Testors Dark Blue. I thought sure it would be dry by this evening but it isn't. Is this normal or did I screw up again???
  24. That is one wild looking ride.
