  1. I will more than likely hate myself for this but count me in. A 1950 Chevy 3100 Pick-up. Stock/ mild custom.
  2. I posted yesterday that I had built a Hillbilly Paint Booth ( no insult intended ). I was able to get more done yesterday than I have been. Problem is I am venting the room using a window fan set to exhaust. With it being clear across the room I am not to awful concerned about it, but when winter hits here in Cleveland I am not going to be willing to exhaust heat to the outside. Does anyone have a used paint booth or know of someone that does? Any help would be greatly appreciated as funds are slightly tight right now.
  3. It has happened on occassion but only on a Friday or Saturday evening. have to get up and go to work in the morning during the week.
  4. Not so rare really I have one somewhere around here.
  5. The fumes get a little much, problem this winter, but the fan is across the room strictly venting the fumes out. The motors are brushless and sealed. Thanks for the warning though.
  6. All I can add to what has been said is, " Atta boy " that's how you build them.
  7. It looks good to me. I wish I could accomplish a build in just one week but it takes two to three weeks for me. I must be getting old.
  8. Ok, I am over my slump and busy building a 1951 Chevrolet Belair. Dark Blue Interior. Metalic Blue Body. White Convertible Top.
  9. I would buy a model just to get the engine stand.
  10. That is one sweet looking ride.
  11. Now that looks like a real truck someone would drive to work or out fishing. Great job.
  12. I am right here in Beautiful, choke, Cleveland, Ohio and I have zero problems with this Web-Site or any other.
  13. Well I can't afford to go out and buy a Paint Booth right now, but I needed something. 1 Cardboard Box. 2 Furnace Filters 1 Double Window Fan sitting in window across the room ( only runs when I am DONE painting) ( Hmm, that may not be a good idea, start it before painting) I now have a Hillbilly Paint Booth. No offence intended by my description. Don't laugh it works.
  14. I only have six built models as I just got back into modeling. I have fifteen in reserve to build though I started on two of those. A 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner, I quit working on that to start a 1962 Pontiac 421 but lost the upper control arms and have now started on a 1951 Chevy belair. I agree the comp. takes entirely to much of my time.
  15. This is one of the best threads on this entire Forum. I really wish more members made use of it as it is a place of inspiration, at least for me.
  16. I going to try to get busy building this 51 Chevrolet belair Convert.
  17. I don't believe it came with the dual wheels in front. Please tell me you didn't scratch build the linkage and such. As usual this is beyond words.

    Intimidator Lumina

I carefully looked at each picture and see nothing wrong at all with this build. Great job.
  19. My first car was a 1956 Crown Victoria with a 312 Thunderbird engine. There were, naturally modifacations to the engine and it would definatly move. One night I blew the engine. The next morning, after removing certain things from the car, Mag wheels and such a wrecker picked it up to take it to the junkyard. As he drove down the street he stopped, and dropped the car down. I walked down to see what was wrong and he told me he had to pick it up by the front, he had picked it up from the rear, the steering column had snapped in two.
  20. I have a running stock of fifteen different moels to build And a whole lot of lack of motivation right now.
  21. Actually I find it rather disturbing.
  22. Being a child of the fifties I would have to use one of these three options. Keystone Mag Wheels Crager Mag Wheels Chrome Reverse with Baby Moons. but that's just me.
  23. I remember buying this kit back in the sixties. Sad part is I don't remember building it. Funny thing about memories.
  24. The 1960 Chevrolet was a great car and you have replicated it perfectly. I am impressed with the paint job as it looks smooth and shiny.
  25. Now that is cold hearted.
