  1. It's different I'll say that.
  2. Well duh, it's a Chevy truck, my bad.
  3. That is one sharp looking truck. One question though, I thought I saw a Chevy emblem on the hood??
  4. An absolutely fantastic idea and one that you and your department should be given thanks for.
  5. In all honesty I at first did not care for it. But after looking at all the photo's and studying them I do like this model and appreciate all the work that went into it. Good job just doesn't correctly express my thoughts, fantastic, superb, wonderful, I don;t know.
  6. Great subject. Great build. Great paint job and detaing. That's three out of three. Good job.
  7. One of my all time favorite kits and one I had trouble with in the early sixties. Can't remember why though. I gotta get me one of these.
  8. I recieved and message the other day stating I really need a bigger workbench area. Space is limited to say the least. As you can see good use of space is required.
  9. I have tried Michaels and was told they are getting rid of the models. Hobby Town closed down, retirement. The three Hobby Shops here in Cleveland cater more to the Train and RC guys. Hobby Lobby does not have that great of a selection on my opinion. I will be purchasing more and more of my Models from jimnohio as he is local for me.

That is a really nice build and a great paint job. I like the setting used for the phot's also, really neat.
  11. There are several builders on here that are pure artist in thier work, but there are none better than you. The builds you do are always well thought out and beautifully executed. I, personally appreciate your willingness to share your tips and techniques with all of us as I have learned a lot from you. I think you need to consider making a video, DVD of a complete build from starting with the box on the bench all the way through to completion. It would sell like hotcakes.
  12. A really great build of a really great car. I love the setting used for the photo's.
  13. Other than building models my spare time is spent On Multiply networking with friends all over the world. I tried facebook, still have account, but really don't care for it.
  14. There is most assuredly a lot of information, tips and techniques to be gathered from this site. Jump in, ask questions, post pictures and share your builds with us.
  15. Now that is one sharp looking wagon. really good job.
  16. Looks really good, but I think I will wait untill my skills improve, a lot, before I try something like that.
  17. Who cares about aage, it's only a number anyway. I'll get me that Black Widow and the 48.
  18. A friend of mine at work brought this in for me to-day. I have never heard of this series of Models from AMT.
  19. They both look like great builds to me. As for the camaro I, personally, don't like the way the metallic paints look. They just don't look smooth to me. Perhaps it's just that I'm an old school kind of guy.
  20. I did not get to go this year, I hurt my knee somehow, but I will be leaving Cleveland headed for Sylvania next year.
  21. I had a list of after market sites that offered pre-wired distributors and such, but I lost it. Could anyone please give me some ideas where to look for this item as the local Hobby Store does not stock them anymore. Thanks you. Happy Modeling
  22. The man that taught me the art of maching, his words, taught me to strive to learn something new everyday. I have learned to slow down. I have learned to order distributors prewired as it is so much easier and looks better. Anyway here's what I'm trying to build now. I have to repaint the body, hood and firewall.
  23. Been busy all day with this and that. I set the 55 Cameo aside and the 50 3100 truck. Just don't feel like working on them. Picked up this 69 Plymouth and started back on it. happy Modeling everyone.
  24. We all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to car especially. But in my opinion there isn't anything that can beat a 55 Chevy, 56 Chevy, 57 Chevy, 56 T-bird, 60,61 and 62 Chevy. The styling was better. The customizing possabilities were darn near endless.
  25. 06 Shelby most definetely.
