  1. Maybe a Dick Landy 68 Coronet R/T or 71 Dodge Demon?
  2. Very true. I run into the same thing too. There are those that are so set in their beliefs that there is nothing one can do to convince them other wise. You just keep moving forward. The way I look at it is whatever way Round 2 got the Chevy ll to be released ie; reverse engineering, 3d prototyping, etc; I'm glad they did it. What an opportunity this has been , which in turn could open the doors to other kit subjects we thought we would never see again. We could very well see the MPC 68 and 69 Pontiac Bonnevilles, 68 and 69 Coronet R/T, AMT 67 and 68 Ford Galaxies, AMT 68 Fairlane and others come out sooner than we think.
  3. I read on FB that Round 2 is planning on releasing the MPC Galloping Ghost ll kit. Is there any truth to this? Anyone read or hear anything about it? Has anyone built this kit back in the day?
  4. Same thing going on with the motocross dirtbike models The Roger Decoster and other bikes are going for good money on ebay.
  5. Is Moebius still moving forward with the Chevy II for a release this year?
  6. Wanted to see everyone's opinion on the success of this kit. Maybe it's a little early, but looks like this kit was well received. Don't know if it's been sold out but there were many buyers on this one, with some buying more than one. Probably will take some time for Round 2 to determine if it generated the revenue they wanted.
  7. Most definetly the 67 Galaxie hardtop. And add to that the 68 Coronet R/T.
  8. Thanks for the heads up on this Casey. It's impressive how fast Round 2 is getting these oldies to market. I hope this trend continues.
  9. Where was the listing for the kit found?
  10. The police and taxi Coronets were only equipped with the 14" steel wheels , not 15" wheels.
  11. I think there is a very good chance of seeing the 67 Skylark and 68 Coronet come out again, now that Round is repairing and retooling their old molds.
  12. As far as the stripes; black and white were the most common. The cars that used the red stripes , the bodies were black or silver. The red tail stripe really isn't red. It has a slight orange tinge to it.
  13. Yes. The A-12 wheels are different than the 15" 1968 wheels. What is different are the centers. The 68 wheels have the dimpled centers that the lugs go through. On the 69 15" A-12 wheels; the wheels have a circular . raised looking plate that the lugs go through.
  14. I agree. Just the fact that Round 2 is bringing back kits we haven't seen in decades is outstanding. It does not bother me if certain details were not improved on. I'll still buy it.
  15. Pretty sure he has an allotment as well as the other two. Who knows how many each are getting to sell. Maybe they each are getting 1/3 of what is being produced. Only they know. I just made the statement that Wes's Model Car corner was taking orders today. Was just passing along the information. That's all that was.
  16. There probably will be future runs. If this sells well, more releases will come.
  17. If you go to Wes's Model Car Corner facebook page, he is taking preorders now.
  18. It's on Mike's Decals website. Under "new arrivals", then go down to bottom of page. https://www.mikesdecals.com/coming-soon-i-8.html
  19. Here is the Salvino 71 Charger box art.
  20. This is a new tooled kit. Awhile back Salvino's had showed the 3d renderings of both the 71 and 73 Charger stock car bodies. Salvino's tooled the 71 Charger themselves. Wes's Model Car Corner, Model Roundup and Mikes Decals are investing in this. Kind of what the Model King does with Moebius. The 71 Charger kit is an exclusive that can only be bought through these three companies.
  21. Salvino's is doing a limited run of 2800 1971 Dodge Charger generic stock car kits. Model Roundup, Wes's Model Car Corner , Mikes Decals got together to do this run. They are the only ones selling this kit. Wes's Model Car corner is taking pre orders now. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=10219202144630480&set=gm.2822461291340924 Here is the Salvino's podcast talking about this. They start talking about the limited edition kit at the 12:30 mark on the time line. https://www.facebook.com/salvinosjrmodels/videos/?ref=page_internal
  22. Big thanks to Round 2 for retooling the Cutlass kit and for Tim Boyd to give us a great review on the kit. Finally Round 2 is re doing and modifiying their tooling. A while back I remember the naysayers were stating that Round 2 wasn't going to retool anything because the cost was not viable. Well, the naysayers were wrong and now we are seeing things come out of Round 2's vaults. Let's keep supporting Round 2.
