  1. Well, since you asked; further kit requests: 67 Galaxie, 67 and 68 Bonneville, 69 Coronet, 67-69 Chevy c-10 kits.
  2. Very happy with this news. I'm one of those that have been requesting this for years. Also, some of those Coronet threads I have been starting. Let's all support Round 2. I bet we'll see more coming out.
  3. Well, I've been one of those that have been clamouring for this. Will be jumping on both the 68 Coronet Convertible and hardtop kits when they come out.
  4. When will the altered wheelbase Coronet be released?
  5. Actually that was the grand prize that Revell awarded the prize winner in the Revell sweepstakes. All you had to do was cut the Revell brand name from the box or reasonable facsimile, put your name and address on the back, put it in the envelope and mail it. That label with your name is what they draw among the thousands. Only supposed to put in one label out per envelope. It didn't matter if it was a large or small label. I beleive 75, 76 and 77 were the years the sweepstakes were done. I entered the sweepstakes around 76. I sent in alot of envelopes. 1st prize was the Cessna 150 or 152. 2nd and 3rd prizes were Harley Davidson dirt bikes, 4th prizes were a 6 pack of model kits cars , boats and planes. 5th prizes were 3 pack of model kits; a car, boat and plane. There were numerous winners for the 4th and 5th prizes. There might have been a 6th prize, but don't remember what those were. I was one of the 5th prize winners of the 3 pack of kits. My box came in the mail had the 1/16 Tom Mc Ewen Army rear engine dragster, 1/32 scale Hawker Harrier jet and the Prinz Eugen battle ship model. Still have the dragster and Eugen battle ship models that I built. Anyone else enter this contest back then? Would love to read what others won.
  6. Already did buy both versions of the Cutlass kit.
  7. Lets add another 68 Coronet kit; the Feverbee drag car. Going for good money too. So many building possibilities. We already have the drag racing parts in the GTX and 70 Superbee kits. Plenty to work with. Round 2 could very well have this kit as a future subject along with other future releases.
  8. Please reissue the MPC 68 Coronet R/T.
  9. it's a 71 Plymouth, but not a 71 Charger. Nice build.
  10. I like those titles. Also, be good if they came with the Hodges Dodges decals.
  11. Really looking forward to the upcoming 65 Coronet AWB car kit. Will the kit come with decals?
  12. Did you try sending him a private message? Sometimes you can't expect someone to read through a whole thread to find someone that asks a question. That's why it's always good to just PM the person.
  13. Does it really matter which rear comes in the kit? Just the fact that Moebius will be doing the 65 Coronet in both the A-990 and altered wheelbase version is excellant news. Correct rear axle or not lets support them. Lets keep open minded about this kit subject. Who knows; Moebius, after reading through this topic may very well include the 8 3/4 rear assembly in this kit.
  14. I also order from Wes's Model Car Corner too. Wes gives excellant service. Fast shipping too. I've ordered from him numerous times.
  15. I bet a standard wheelbase hardtop is probably in the works. Keep in mind Moebius did both the 65 Satellite and 65 Belvedere standard wheelbase bodies. So, chances are probably good that the same will be done for the 65 Coronet. But, that is just speculation.
  16. Would love to see Round 2 do a release of the MPC 68 Coronet kit. It's been a requested kit for years. Round 2 , please dig into your vaults.
  17. Was this the car that Wendell Scott raced after the crash with the Mercury Mercury Cyclone?
  18. Has anyone tried to correct the flared wheel openings of the Revell 79-83 Mercury Capri? Revell never modified the Capri tooling to do the correct, flat profile wheel openings. I want to do this modification. Looks so much better than the flared openings. Thanks. George
  19. Let's see those finished Mooneye's Dragsters.
  20. Just received the kit. Looks like the only thing not included in this kit is the 392 engine.
  21. To get back on topic. How cost effective is for Round 2 take a kit, from their archives in which the tooling is not there and use 3D printing to do new tooling? Subjects such as the 68 or 69 Bonneville, 71 Dodge Demon, 68 or 69 C-10 truck where the tooling is no longer there could be done this way.
  22. It's supposed to be a 72 body. I would return it.
  23. Anyone know if the AMT 68 Corvette will be the a straight reissue of the Corvette kit that came out in 68?
  24. Just throwing this out there; about two years ago Salvinos showed us on their FB site the 3D renderings of the 72 and 73 Charger stock car bodies. Very favorable comments came out of that in reference to the accuracy of the bodies. Had Moebius did the same thing , showing the 3D renderings of the Chevy ll body to us so we can comment on it ; could that resulted in a more correct body being produced?
  25. This arguing back and forth is doing nothing for this thread. All that is happening is for this thread to get locked. Wait till you get the model in your hands, then decide for yourself.
