  1. Have a happy birthday. Wish this to be a good and wonderful day for you.
  2. Chas SCR: Thanks for replying with your experieneces with the product. I wanted to ask if you can post pics of the things that you painted with ALSA. It wasn't clear in your post but I need to ask ;does the ALSA look like chrome? Is it dead on?
  3. Does anyone know the resin company that used to do the 68' Coronet wedge body?
  4. Check Missing Link Resins. I beleive I saw pics of the 75'/76' Monaco front grill with single headlights on their site.
  5. Try to find a set of plyglass tires from the current issue of AMT's 71' Charger R/T kit. Tires are excellant and the raised letters are easy to detail.
  6. Looking to see if there is a resin 67' or 68' AMC Rebel being produced.
  7. Does anyone have a late 60's or early 70's Oldsmobile v8 engine they're; block, heads, 4bbl intake ,valve covers, etc? Thanks. George
  8. Showtime Resins was in business a few years ago. Are they still in business? Any website addresses? Thank you. George
  9. A 1:1 is the full size vehicle or object. The car you drive to work is a 1:1 scale.
  10. Mine was the MPC T-Bomb 2 in 1 kit.
  11. Thanks for the reply. It looks like it wouldn't be to difficult to master. Take the 70' Rebel machine body and modify that. The 67' could be the easiest. The whole rear area can be modified by using the AMT 68 Roadrunner rear trunk and clip. Maybe modify the 68' Revell Dart taillights to go on the Rebel.
  12. Does anyone know of any resin casting companies that do a 67' or 68' AMC Rebel? Thank you. George
  13. Has anyone tried to do a model of this drag car? What dragster kit could be used for this? Maybe this could be done with the Monogram 69' Coronet Superbee body? Is there maybe a resin body for this?
  14. I was at a friends house and he was getting ready to spray carb cleaner on the carb to his 85' Ramcharger when he accidentally grabbed a can of white paint without looking at it and started spraying on the carb turning it white. I once grabbed what I thought was a jug of Prestone to fill the radiator, I didn't look at the labeling on the jug, started filling the radiator with etching acid. About 8 ounces went in before I realized what was in the jug. Emptied out the radiator flushed it and put coolant in. Never had any adverse reactions.
  15. About two years ago the Cutlass was supposed to be released but it never happened because it was cancelled. Will they ever release it? As I understand the tooling was done Will this ever be produced? Thanks.
  16. The thing is; the pics are a larger size than what is on Photobucket. Could be an issue with Photobucket.
  17. Was doing some tests. I took pics directly from my hard drive to Craig's List and the ad uploaded. However, when going from Photobucket to Craig's list the classified does not upload. Kind of lost here.
  18. The pics on my Photobucket page are 140 X 105. Pic size should not be an issue. When I uploaded the pics from my camera. They were a high resolution 1086 X 1000. Photobucket knocks down the size when you uplaod to Photobucket.
  19. I don't have an account with Craig's list it lets you do a classified without an account. I filled in a the classified ad, pasted my HTML pics where you see browse. Whe the classified is done I go to the bottom of the page to click on continue. I click on continue but nothing happens. Anyone have this trouble. Thanks. George
  20. I think you can find a skeleton at Micheal's or a Hoalloween costume shop. Halloween is coming soon.
  21. What resolution settings should be used for pics that will go on Photobucket?
  22. I have casted parts and bodies. For resin I used Vagabonds 2 part resin. For the rubber I used the silicone rubber from GI Silicones. The $30 and $40 kits don't give enough to do bodies unless it's a Matchbox car size. To do a 1/25 scale body you need at least 32 ounces of rubber. As suggested by another poster about getting the large quantities; 10lb, 20lb, etc of rubber. He is right on. with practice you can cast anything. But you'll be spending money to do it.
