  1. OH. I didn’t know that the old Chevy Square Body is available. I remember these custom crew cab duallies when I was in high school. I thought they were just the coolest. What would the cab look like for a six door version?
  2. I’m glad the seller didn’t see that. I got it for a lot less. It wasn’t a case of a car guy with an oddball resin kit. He sold that kind of thing and knew the market.
  3. F-101 and F-111 are just cool airplanes. The Clerget rotary engine will be part of my engine collection. The BMW is for a kit bash that was someone else’s idea from here; BMW hood and grill on the Mercedes-Benz 170V delivery vehicle. It will be a BMW sedan delivery street rod. McLaren M23 James Hunt car from 1976. Two anime kits for my brother. The resin kit is a steampunk submarine that is shaped like a fish. I’m posting a pic of someone else’s completed build. It was a fun way to spend the day.
  4. I’m impressed. Do you have the older F-350 (2006)? Also long bed dually? I would want 1/24. Thank you
  5. So…are you a fan of Duesenbergs??? ?
  6. I would like to see a six-door, dually, long bed pickup. I am completely serious.
  7. A Nailhead? Another great engine for an old school rod or custom. Nice.
  8. A long, long time ago, I would take some minor thing out of someone’s grocery cart when they weren’t looking. Just imagining them getting home and thinking “I KNOW I put X in the cart”. Now I’m just a jerk on the internet.
  9. It’s super simple. A hanging file system. My workbench is an interior door from a commercial building, supported by a pair of 2-drawer file cabinets.
  10. I read Borg Warner 4speed, but did it go by another name? Thanks. Lee
  11. I found a place that makes transmission adapters. I would love to put a built 6R80 behind it. Let’s talk about a custom scan for that. Not asking for a discount. You have tools and skills that I don’t. There’s value in that.
  12. I found my copy of the January 1991 FSM. It was a pretty good article. I like that he included building a display stand. Here are a few pics.
  13. Yes, but the manifold is like a unicorn. Wait, I don’t want a unicorn ? And wow am I excited about a model of the M119. I really wish I could get a look at that manifold. It makes me wonder about cutting up the upper half of the factory manifold to get a supercharger manifold. Making one like in the pic could eliminate the heat soak issue with a supercharger between cylinder banks.
  14. Oh dang. I must have one. As a street car.
  15. This intake manifold and supercharger for a Mercedes-Benz M119 DOHC V-8. And a good M119, also. That engine is built by Stern Garage in Germany. They don’t sell the manifold by itself, just a complete engine for US $25k
  16. Two sets of Learjet 23 tip tanks sent by Priority Mail. I don’t need anything for them. Just help someone else out when you can.
  17. This magazine has an article by Bob Steinbrunn on detailing a Williams Brothers 1/8 scale engine. It’s a radial, not a rotary, but a cool article nonetheless. I believe he had an article on a rotary, also. He even built a display stand that looks like one that would hold a real engine in a museum. https://finescale.com/issues/1991/january-1991
  18. I don’t need anything. It would be cool to see photos of your projects. I’m about to get started on this in 1/48. The decal sheet says 1/32. I got markings for these two planes in two scales.
  19. I copied your address. It would be a good idea remove that info from your post. Someone with bad intentions might use it.
  20. Just telling you what happened when I posted a pic of a taboo subject I bought with a really pretty crest.
  21. Also the thing that’s in the safe is taboo. You might get threatened with being banned just for mentioning it.
  22. I have two of these that I bought for parts. I don’t need the tip tanks. You’re welcome to them.
  23. I just came back to say I bought one of those. I can’t wait for it to arrive. It has been years since I used an airbrush, and it was hobby enamels for military planes. I’m really looking forward to using lacquers.
