  1. so if it gets taped, how does it turn?
  2. i miss Clint Curtis & the Road Knights
  3. Marine-Tex; that stuff's whatcha need for ingins
  4. is the "release date" and "in your local store" mutually exclusive? if it's released from the Manufacturer, can't it be purchased from a dealer not dependent on so-cal ports of call? maybe a European or far East dealer? or does it have to touch ground in the USA first - because it's Chevrolet?
  5. ironic
  6. if you go the route of the drop-tank (good link!), know that the Star kit has the bottom section flattened-off. this was done for real, and allows the whole tank to sit closer to the salt.
  7. good grief. the Ed Sullivan Show wasn't the same without her.
  8. never had much luck with any product in the syringe dispenser. probably me, but i'd always opt for two separate containers. the Smith Industries brand is good, and a value from HL w/ coupon.

  11. at that size, you might be able to find a label decal in the 1/35 military kits. only you would know it doesn't say Moon. i doubt anyone knows the label on the K-ration can doesn't really say 'chipped beef on toast'.
  12. some times it's best to bite the bullet and buy the right product first time.
  13. a bit of a caution: there's some wisdom in the 'save you old electronics to rob for parts' dogma ... but ... some of the wrappings on those wires have a memory. i've gone to lengths getting wires nestled into place, even so far as touching them with a dab of ACC, only to find a week later they're back into their own form and looking a bit like Alfalfa's cow-lick.
  14. Replicas & Miniatures Company of Maryland has a Triumph in resin which i believe is the Revell parts pack kit of the early '60s. item # B-31 / $35.00
  15. start @ 3:00 minutes:
  16. thanks for the link & recommendation
  17. is there a possibility of making a recess to hold the nut prior to adhesive? are you cleaning your nuts? manufacturing can leave an oil residue; this might contribute to a weak bond. know JB is black, not clear. you can use belt & suspenders; tack with ACC and then surround your nuts with epoxy for the full monty. don't let the screw bottom out when installing; you may be leveraging the nut right off the surface. that's all i've got.
  18. anyone know if the Columbia 2 speed is available aftermarket?
  19. i think the offerings are being made to the resin deities to cast one; kit apparently is set up for coil suspension.

  22. that's signature material, right there
  23. when you realize it's a better solution to buy aftermarket parts so you don't have to store the remainder of another robbed for parts kit.
  24. i think Verlinden makes them, also
