i used to collect model railroading magazines from the 40's & 50's. there were great articles about men who built scale steam engines from brass in little apartments on their kitchen tables. a hobby is supposed to be a pleasureable pastime, not a second job. if you're looking at it as an obligation, maybe it's time to take a break or try something different. and it's not about how much $$$ can be spent on aftermarket goodies, but imagination & innovation. see it in your mind, and find a way to make it come alive.
