  1. That's going to be a great trailer to pair with your Mack. Great combination.
  2. I know it's no comfort to you but I think it looks fantastic! Beyond my abilities.
  3. That is so clever! That's worthy of Jim Wangers that is. I do love his Pontiac adverts, just so clever.
  4. You're doing a great job on this. I like the wear on the diamond plate. The chains and pins look good too. It will look great with a load on it.
  5. Great looking truck, would be great to have one of those around
  6. Very clean build, great colour too. So many little touches on this rig, it's a real standout.
  7. Very nice job with some very nice features- opening doors, double sleeper, paint scheme, well done.
  8. When you get into fabbing stuff to the degree you have on this job you see how much work the kit makers have to put into each kit. It's a wonder anything can be built. Persevere, you'll sort it I'm sure. You can see the filter housing is too big from the kit.
  9. Nice install on the DD. Looks factree.
  10. Very "of its era" with the single drive and the tag axle. Love it. Like the pot belly trailer too, thinking of one myself.
  11. Really nice workaday piece of machinery. Well done.
  12. Great work here, I admire your scratchbuilt spring, takes some patience. I don't think I'd be able to get the wheels to sit square if I tried that.
  13. Yep, squares would look gooder. Good looking build mate, you're excelling again.
  14. Very realistic interior, well done. Could you put a reinforcement behind the bumper whilst it's held at the right angles? I find laminating scratch built stuff helps to maintain angles.
  15. This is an extraordinary build. You have demonstrated tremendous ingenuity in adding details to the build. You don't have to explain yourself, you do it because you want to and no one can criticise you because we're all as daft!
  16. Great work on the visor and the dash. This is going to look great. I feel for you on the doctor appointments, mine are nonstop, I've can't remember why I'm going half the time!
  17. That's a nice looking piece of machinery. Well done!
  18. The weathering on this is just brilliant. I love the rubbed circle on the hitch plate, very realistic. On the mudflaps, one method I use is to put a piece of bar in a vice, then put the tape across it and fold it back against itself. It's quite easy to align so there's no sticky surfaces exposed. Then I cut it to size. It quite often takes on a gentle curve of its own which mimics the real thing after a life spent being buffetted by the wind.
  19. I use electrical tape for my mudflaps and I find that decals will adhere but they pull the flap out of shape as they dry.
  20. Impressive build indeed! I was looking at it and wondering how on earth you grip the thing to pick it up!
  21. Try different light angles on the lamp in the bumper, the shadows could be making the illusion of misalignment. It looks perfect to me! As does everything else on this job. Makes mine look like I've beaten it with a stick.
  22. Great work Jürgen, as usual. Like your V8 too. You're refining this process with every project. You're also building a great resource of chassis components etc... that you can call in for future projects, as you have with this. I think we're watching our future being written.
  23. Excellent job! Like the little details you've added. Well done.
