  1. How in the devil did 'mart get the LM29H1 before anyone else ?
  2. Thanks much. Any idea what state/ region that feller lives ?
  3. I'll have to take a closer look then. I live in California, so , in theory, I should be able to find them on 'Mart's site. A cursory examination earlier today didn't exhibit the 1971 Demon 340 - that's why I was wondering if you saw them in person or on their site.
  4. Have you seen them en vivo , or on their site ?
  5. The last two curbside kits I've built were painted with hood on ( AMT 1963 Nova Wagon and AMT 1965 GTO ). However, before I affixed the bonnet in both instances, I made sure that the panel separation (hood-to-fenders, etc.) was 'true' , then I painted some flat black around the hood's edge and fenders' edges. [ EDIT ] : This is done before the final primer coat. Like @Ace-Garageguy and others have stated , metallics and pearls - and especially candy colours - need to be uniform. This is true in 1:1 as it is on our scale replicas. Final coats with all relative panels affixed (temporarily) is paramount. Solid colours ? Not so much (at least in my experiences).
  6. Here's School Bus Yellow, ready-to-shoot : Fleet (scalefinishes.com)
  7. I'd love to have a stock (i.e., not a Stock Car , NASCAR, et alia) version of the Cyclone .
  8. Yes, sir. I'd neglected to mention the footnotes - I skipped to the projected availability date. Thanks for sharing the additional info.
  9. Also played the vigilante motorcycle cop in Magnum Force .
  10. Noises - such as feedback - in music can be lots of fun ; take White Light / White Heat for an instance
  11. The ones that are floating around YouTube are finalised , full-production kits, provided to - in these instances - @hpiguy , and the Autistic Modeler (not sure if Louie is a member here ?) - for them to review and build. Model Roundup still exhibits , as of today , 05-JAN-2024 at 0850 HRS. , a "mid-late January [2024]" availability .
  12. AMT G-Van : I have a feeling that it'll be retooled (or at least partially-retooled) to the Open Road incarnation . Certainly, I hope that the correct rims ( 6 lug ? 8 lug ? ) and accompanying tyres and hubcaps will be included . MPC : Escort EXP . Why not ? Tooling already exists... MPC : 1978 C-10 2WD. Maybe at the very least, the 2WD parts will find their way into the existing 1981 kit ? MPC : Dodge B-Van . New tooling (pretty please !) in 1972-1974 model years , extra windows / sidelights and all.
  13. Flamethrowers would make for great crowd control, such as incidents on the Harbor Freeway, and near Los Angeles International Airport
  14. Own your possessions - don't let your possessions own you
  15. Gorgeous young ladies ! Their marques are sublime !
  16. Radio baint wot it used to be
  17. As promised , here're some more photos.
  18. "That's the straight dope !"
  19. Mari Lwyd !
  20. Thank you kindly for the offer - I just may take you up on it ! I want to build a close-enough replica of the Gapp & Rousch 'Sudden Death' Mustang II , and I'd figured that the Fire Fighter would fill that 'void' . Thank you !
  21. I was just checking out eBay for the MPC Mustang II - see if there's a reasonably-priced copy. I can't believe just how many Fire Fighter kits are on there ! Is there a pending reissue of this (or a similar , perhaps 2-in-1) kit ? Saturated on eBay ! I don't wanna pull the trigger if Round2 is planning to reissue the MPC Mustang II . Thoughts ?
