Bill you posted at the same time as I was. Totally agree. -

And don’t forget the self driving vehicles, so idiots can continue to text, or otherwise be totally distracted while driving. -

BMW just recalled 3/4 of a million vehicles, because the water pump wiring can catch fire. It’s 2024! You think the auto manufacturers would be able to build a safe car, kinda like they did in the past several decades? -

Fantastic job, Tony! This is the nicest version I’ve seen of this truck built. I did this one a while ago, before Joseph came out with the chassis upgrade, using aftermarket resin springs and parts. But that darn box on mine just wouldn’t line up. What did you do to get yours straight? -
Your color choice looks great. A couple years ago, I built a couple of A12s. A Mystic Green Superbee, and a Hemi Orange Roadrunner. I also used Joseph’s parts as well.

LOUIS DEJOY HAS GOT TO GO!!!!!! -
Looking good. You have all the necessary parts from Fireball to make a correct looking A-12. I’ll be following along.

Forum website has been sluggish for the last few days
Brutalform replied to peteski's topic in How To Use This Board
I’ve stayed off for a few days because it seems every thing was real slow loading. Now tonight, I logged in and it seemed to get worst. Anyone else having this problem? From logging in, to selecting a board, to posting. -

FedEx, used to be decent. Now not so much. Audio is edited out because of a few choice words. This is how my new lawnmower was left. And the guy claims “me speak no English”? Front__2024-07-11T15_01_33.mov -

Really nice start on your build. This thing is going to be a beast of a car. Where are you from Scott? I’m about an hour and a half from Carlisle. -
Organizing Aftermarket parts
Brutalform replied to iBorg's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I used to organize parts, and still do, except for aftermarket parts. I just stick em up on a cork board above my bench. That way I just take a glance up to see what I have on hand. Been working great for me. And it saves a lot of room since it’s on the wall. -

Stop the world… I would like to get off. Crazy planet. Lol -
We have been waiting about two years for the release of the 65 Dodge cars, and the last I heard was the end of May. I’ll most likely pass on the 65 Dodge, as I have plenty of kits to build, that will not be built in my lifetime. Too many problems with the Moebius kits, except maybe the 65 Plymouths. I can’t speak for the kits I didn’t build, but that’s the only one that went together pretty well.

Two months ago. No one that I know of even has a pre order yet.

People who text and drive suck!

I don’t think THEY even know when they will be available.

Very nice model. Superb in every way.
-
That is typical from what I have read from other members on these boards. There was some problems with freshly molded kits not being allowed to cool, being put into the boxes, and being warped. From what I’ve read, they didn’t do anything to help the customers who bought these kits and complained about the warpage. I’ve dealt with Revell on some parts issues, and they promptly replaced the part in question. Maybe Moebius should take a lesson from Revell?
-
And don’t forget about the Pontiac Ventura kit, where the front bumper and grill sticks out from the car by a mile. Now I get as modelers, we can fix a mistake here and there, but there is no reason for these types of issues. I guess quality control at Moebius has been fast asleep as these kits passed by?

Revell 68 Chevelle. This is the red car on the box kit, but I’m gonna steal the stripes from the Germany kit for the hood and trunk. Still needs clear. -

Looking good Ron, that black laid down nice. -
Keeping the "fuzzies" off the paint.

I almost always remove my shirt especially when I’m painting bodies. Not so much for smaller parts though. And it really made a difference that I have noticed. You’d be amazed at the stuff that collects in your shirt, and ultimately ends up on your freshly painted model.
