IMO, Most, but not all food and products have date codes, because the manufacturers know that certain people will think they might become poisoned if they consume it. Hoping that you toss perfectly good food, and go buy more.

Moebius 65 Plymouth AWB mule car

Was wondering if the “O” on the Moebius Plymouth AWB hood decal was intentionally left off, or was it a mistake on the decal? The box art shows the “O” is missing on it as well.

No worries. And Thank you.

Thank you. Over all I enjoyed the build. I even ordered another one for a full on drag car. The problem I encountered with the rear glass was it didn’t want to fit in flush no matter what I did to it. I even snapped the original and had to order another from Pegasus Hobbies. It seems to have a “peak” in the top center. The last pic it’s noticeable but maybe the next build will be better.

As always, another finely detailed, and well executed, super stock build. I keep finding you builds in my searches, as I’m into the 65 Plymouths myself, right now.

What's with the U.S.Post office these days?
Brutalform replied to styromaniac's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Not trying to jinx myself or anyone else, but the last few packages my wife and I received in the mail, couldn’t have arrived any faster. A kit I ordered yesterday morning, has already arrived in my state. Should be here tomorrow . -
Moebius model in Purple Power
Brutalform replied to Brutalform's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Two days in the Super Clean, and after a scrub with a red scratch pad, the body came out really clean. Minimal clean up around the edges. Just got all the panel lines scribed, and should primer and paint today and tomorrow. -
I recently bought one of those and when it arrived, I was surprised to see how small of a sheet it was.

The part #s are in the pictures at the beginning of the thread.

1965 Belvedere info needed.
Brutalform replied to Brutalform's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thank you all for the replies. I’d like to build the car just as it looked when raced. I’ll add the Satellite trim, and just add a PE Belvedere emblem. Also adding two rear bumper guards as well. I’ve got the rolling chassis completed, just have to get the body started now. -
Polishing a molded in color body

Yea, pretty much what the person said in the review. I would think a peg board, with properly sized wooden dowels, or a peg board slightly drilled out to accommodate a certain dowel size might work. Or a peg board might be a little too large? The Dodge is coming along great by the way.

1965 Belvedere info needed.
Brutalform replied to Brutalform's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Gotcha. Makes sense to me now. I’ve seen many with Satellite, or just with nothing at all on the trim. After searching Belvedere II, a bunch more pics came up. This one has the script below the actual trim. I’m still learning about Mopar everyday. Thanks Ron -
I hope a person with Mopar knowledge can shed some light. Working on Grumps Black Arrow, and I’m confused about the rear trim by the license plate area. I haven’t found many pics of this car, but this one of the rear shot, has the trim. Can’t really make out the words on the passenger side of it. In the Moebius kit, the trim is there but with “ Satellite”. Did this car ever have the trim, with “Belvedere” on it? Or was it blank? Would I be correct to add some PE Belvedere to it, or leave it blank? Thanks for any input guys.

I like that roll bar jig. Where can I get one of those?

Moebius model in Purple Power

There it is. My bad. It was brake fluid. I knew I saw something where soaking a model ruined it. Sorry guys. Thanks for all the replies -

Moebius model in Purple Power
Brutalform replied to Brutalform's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Maybe I shouldn’t have put the cart before the horse. I did not get the body yet, and it very well could be painted with lacquer. In that case 91% alcohol should do a decent job, as it always had in the past for me with lacquer jobs. -

Moebius model in Purple Power
Brutalform replied to Brutalform's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks Steve. Yes, that’s what I have… super clean. Don’t know why I mix the two names up. I made sure when I bought it, to stay clear of the Purple Power. I guess them both being in a purple jug? Now that I think about it, I think I saw it on an old Donn Yost video, but not totally certain. Thanks for your help Steve, much appreciated. -
I located a 65 Belvedere body for my Black Arrow build, that will need to be stripped. Not sure, but I recall someone stating that the Moebius styrene could crack if soaked in PP. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks everyone. I really like the old Super Stocks the most.

And thanks Ron. I knew you would post more pics of your model than I did on my own post.
