  1. Waiting for a delivery any day now from him. I recently have ordered A LOT of his items, mostly Mopar stuff.
  2. I hear ya. I thought of that after I posted. Especially since you did a great job on the kit rims.
  3. Sorry. I screwed up this post.
  4. Your build is coming along nicely. If you ever want to go a step further on the wheels, check out Fireball Modelworks. Joseph makes these exact wheels in a three piece design, with wheel backs. I have used them, and have another set on the way for another RR build. You did a nice job on yours though. Your centers are correct being darker for your year car.
  5. Another saw I use, and probably could not go with out, is a Micro Mark mini mitre box with saw blades and handle. From cutting small pieces of aluminum tubing, to small square styrene, to roll bars, makes it easy and precise. Its $16.95 but we’ll worth it.
  6. I just started to get notifications late. Sometimes it’s a whole day before I get a notification. This just started recently.
  7. I just downloaded a pic of a car from the web. It posted with no problems. Then I tried to add MY pics of that build, and still an error. So it seems it’s only certain pics that won’t post.
  8. Thanks Dave. Not sure if this could be a related problem, but, I’ll get a notification today from something that was already read or posted the day before. This just started to happen recently. Not a real problem, I can live with it. Just thought I’d mention it.
  9. I was thinking the same thing. Just tried to post pics again, and the same thing. I even resized them smaller.
  10. For some reason I could post a pick of the error message.
  11. Was posting pics to another member two days ago. Now I can’t post anything. Getting that same 200 message. This happens often, but if I modify the pic by making it a bit smaller, it usually works but not no more.
  12. I should have never strayed from Micro Scale, knowing how well it works. I bought the Tamiya solution at my LHS, to give it a try. After three uses, I was doing more work trying to get the residue off, and putting the decals at risk of being ruined. Actually, now I wonder why I even wasted my money. I normally don’t stray away from things that are known to work well.
  13. I’ve always used the Microscale set/sol, but decided to try that new Tamiya Mark Fit decal solution, in the yellow labeled bottle. Had the problem you described. I went back to the Microscale.
  14. Don’t be afraid to use the “air” versions, because I never need to add any water with the eye dropper to them. Pretty much just shake it real good, and brush it on. Consistently is perfect for brushing too. These paints are generally less expensive than the other acrylics, and has huge color availability.
  15. I was using Tamiya acrylics, but switched to Vallejo. No more adding retarder, and ugly brush marks, and stuck on lids.
  16. Excellent build Mark, and that color looks era perfect. Looks as if you dry brushed the air cleaner, and under the hood a bit, and it looks realistic. Yes, I’ve found, during assembly, if you don’t have the firewall just right under the car, where it meets the floor, it will give you problems.
  17. Turned out very nice. Under hood looks spot on. You really got that ride height nailed down nicely.
  18. That is one beautiful charger. Everything is perfect from the paint color to the engine detail.
  19. A little info I found that covers the engines from air cleaners to the oil pans. https://racehemi.maxwedge.com/
  20. Found another source with some good info in it, from air cleaners to oil pans for the max wedge. https://racehemi.maxwedge.com/
  21. You did an amazing job on this car. I have this in the stash, along with the 56. Now you got me wanting to do them both.
  22. All is good, Steve. He is hooking me up.
  23. Yea, no doubt it was a mistake. The maker said I needed to remove the front support, to make it fit, but that would spread the fenders way apart because of that ridiculous width.
