  1. All is good, Steve. He is hooking me up.
  2. Yea, no doubt it was a mistake. The maker said I needed to remove the front support, to make it fit, but that would spread the fenders way apart because of that ridiculous width.
  3. No apologies needed. This is great stuff. I’ve been a GM guy during my drag racing years, and know a lot about them, but I enjoy talking and learning Mopars. I’d like to build the most correct car I can, except for correcting kit manufacturers mistakes, like the AMT 69 RRs rear quarters. I can live with that. They may not look 100% correct, but I build them anyway.
  4. Thanks. I’m going to PM him.
  5. Thanks Steve. Yes, I’ve purchased a couple of his 68 Roadrunner decals from him before. I notice he has a mini sheet with the yellow Mopar air cleaner decal. But it has only one, instead of a pair. I’d have to buy 8 sheets to have enough. I didn’t see any 413 valve covers. I’d need 4 sets of those. I’ll have to shoot him an email.
  6. Pretty cool info there. I can really see it on the second picture.
  7. Btw, Bill, what did you think of that grill I sent back to you?
  8. Thanks Bill. Man I really am getting into these old MW cars. I’m still waiting for my 62 Savoy, and 63 330 from MCW. I have a 63 Fury started, and I just also stared the Color Me Gone car, to be built as white with turquoise interior. I got some real nice rims and hubcaps from Chief Joseph. His stuff is simply the best.
  9. Yea, these Moebius kits seem to get very scarce right out of the hole. Then people ask ridiculous prices for them. Even the Ford pickups. I order two of every one I buy anymore. I preordered one, and just bought another on eBay. Getting the Dyno Don car shouldn’t be a problem right now, but the Beswick car is getting harder to find.
  10. Thanks for all the replies. Bill... So even the 64 Plymouth with the one head lamp on each side denotes a Hemi car? I always wondered about that because the Plymouth with one light really stands out more than the other Mopars do. That car looks way better with the four lamps. Gotta add that book to my library.
  11. Chris, is your plan to build it box stock? Or go a different route? Btw, I enjoyed that 64 Impala build. I didn’t realize how nice of a kit that one was. I’m going to definitely add that to my want list.
  12. Looking for a source for some under hood decals. The Lindberg kits have the 426 max wedge valve cover decals, but does anyone make the 413 valve cover versions, and the yellow air cleaner lid decals?
  13. I’ve a few Mopar max wedge cars on the bench, and on the 64 Dodge, can anyone shed some light on the inner headlamps? We’re they omitted on lightweights? I’ve seen super stock pics of cars with them and without. Is the Lindberg kit incorrect, with the Polara front assembly? Ive also looked on the internet for all the info I can find on the 330 cars, like interior and body colors that were available? All I can find is that they are a B body that was produced from 62 to 64. I know there are some people that know a ton of Mopar facts on these boards more than I do. I’d appreciate any info, as I’ll be building a 62 Savoy, a 62 Dart, a 63 Plymouth, and 63 Dodge, and the 64 Lindberg Dodge 330. All 413 and 426 max wedge cars
  14. One eBay seller has them today, and they are already “almost gone”.
  15. Just received an email that mine shipped this morning. It’s been a long wait. I believe this kit came out later than expected.
  16. Thanks guys. Looks like a cool kit to have for the stash. I already have two of the recent US release. I ordered one at $36 shipped, from the UK. That’s less, or about the same, that I spent on the other version, if I remember correctly.
  17. Does anyone know anything about this boxing? Is Revell of Germany still producing kits?
  18. Real nice 64! That interior looks fantastic.
  19. Fantastic job on the wood grain interior pieces, and engine detail. Great body color.
  20. Nice small block details. The car looks spot on. Nice job.
  21. Another option is jewelers watch crystal cement.
  22. What I do in this situation, when the panel line accent dries, get a cotton swab, and lightly dab it in enamel thinner, and clean up around the pleats on the seat. Then you can paint it white, in a very light coat or two. The lines will look much better, and your seat will have detail.
  23. And it works well indeed. I’m grateful you helped me out with my past painting problem, Steve. ?
  24. If I’m not mistaken, the Flash, and Golden Commandos cars are limited run kits. I have two of each, one each to build, and one each for my stash. One thing I found easier on this kit. When adding the wheel backing plates, add them early on and not when the instructions say. I almost broke mine trying to get them on later on. Just a small tip for you.
  25. I hear ya, JC. I just placed an order with ProTech and was planning on just buying some wheel valve stems, but ended up buying a bunch more. You know how that goes, I’m sure.
