  1. Nice job on your Melrose Missle. So the body was warped when you opened it?
  2. This car looks perfect. Very clean build. The Thunderbolt is one of my all time favorite cars from the S/S era. I have 14 T Bolts completed, and this yellow Vogt car was my “Elenor” out of them all.
  3. Looks fantastic. Those tail lights are a BIG improvement over the kit supplied lights. You don’t see many of these Chevelles turn out as nice as yours did. Nice work.
  4. Couldn’t agree more on painting the parts thoroughly. I had a resin teardrop hood on a 64 Galaxie, and only painted the exposed surface, and after a few months, it curled up all around the edges. And this particular hood was not a thin casting, and it still curled up.
  5. Ok I looked on the other thread, it was misspelled on the 1:1 car. I knew I read it somewhere, that it wasn’t only misspelled on the Beswick model decal.
  6. Ahhh now I remember something about the Jardine being incorrect, and if I’m not mistaken, possibly wrong on another kits decal too. My memory isn’t like it was 20 years ago. Reguardless, when this kit comes out, and since it’s a limited run, I’m definitely adding it to my stash. Maybe I’ll buy two. It’ll be nice building an A/FX without all the extras cutting.
  7. I built the car with the first cyclone kit, Slixx decals, a resin hood, and a SOHC from a Galaxie kit, and seats from the parts bin. I cut the fender wells to make room for the cammer. Now with the Beswick kit, you can pretty much build any car that you have decals for. What was misspelled in the decals?
  8. No problem..Tim. Just good to know it will be released sometime early 2019.
  9. Thanks Tim... that car is a real beauty. Steve has done a great job there. What does the Q1 stand for? I assume first quarter of 2019?
  10. I guess no one knows for sure. I keep checking back to this post to see if there is any date. I’ve read somewhere that it’s due in 2019, but that’s kind of vague. I’ve built this car, but I still want one for my stash.
  11. Slixx has the decals available for the Nicholson car. I kit bashed the first Comet Mobieus released using a cammer, modifying the engine bay, and using their decals, to build the red Nicholson car. I have the Beswick car unbuilt, but knowing me, as soon as the Nicholson car is released I’ll buy that one too.
  12. Thank you Niko.
  13. I forgot to mention, all three of these people make a quality product, and would recommend them to anyone.
  14. The 62 are from Alan at Whoopie Kat, the 63 are Jack Smith’s Top End Decals, and the 64 are from eBay. The 64s decals might be made by Bruce Sadewater. I only spoke with him via message on EBay, and he did say, that, at one time, he worked with Rick Lucas, so I assume it’s Bruce. Don’t hold me to that though.
  15. Thank you for the positive replies, everyone. The 62 is a resin car and the others are styrene.
  16. Welcome neighbor! I’m from Wilkes-Barre.
  17. A few builds that I wanted to get finished that were lying around on the bench for too long. One more Ford after these, then it’s the Mopars turn to get finished.
  18. Excellent to deal with. Products are second to none. Which reminds me... I am almost out of distributors with black caps and wires.
  19. Just finished the truck yesterday. Had the same problem with the interior tub that others mentioned. After sanding the sink marks on the front of the tub, (against the firewall) it slipped right in. Also, the instructions state to install the windshield from the inside. I found it goes in easier from the outside. I’ll most likely build another one a little different from the box art. When Joseph at Fireball comes out with a suspension conversion, that is... I’d like to get the 69 truck, but I haven’t seen any in a while. The rear could sit up a bit higher, but this is the way it will stay.
  20. This is the only pic I could find of this car.
  21. I’ve had this on the bench for way too long. I’ve been working on a Ford 4x4 truck, and finished that... so I decided to try to get this one done as well. I’m trying not to start any new projects until I get the ones I started completed. This car has a lightweight interior. I really didn’t find much info on this car, but I have decals, so I’m pretty much winging it.
  22. Progress on the Ford. Got the chassis, and driveline together. Did some decals, and foil. Working on the cab, then should be fully assembled soon.
  23. Now that’s the way it should look. I like the touch of diamond plate on the rear bumper. Nice, clean build.
  24. Mine slid right in, but that was from the outside.
  25. Super clean and super nice.
