  5. this one looks to be a legit email from paypal. i have received quit a few emails from paypal indicating that there is a problem with my account. so i emailed paypal through their website, not the email and they told me that any email that doesn't start with your full name is a fake and should be forwarded to them to spoof@paypal.com i have heard of this before, some sellers even ask if you can leave feedback as soon as you recieve the item because of this.

  9. what i want to know is how they managed to take a chunk of so cali and put it on a ship??? a lot of those cars had plaques of car clubs from so cal. the lowrider scene is just as big in Japan as it is in the US. same with the import scene. plenty of eye candy in there..shot a few that i wouldn't mind nibbling on myself...
  10. i like these threads. pretty cool to see how many people collect kits. i dont know how many i have in my collection, but its not in the triple digits, i think..lols well my wife hasn't told me to stop buying, so i guess its not to many just yet.. after this weekend, i will know how many kits i actually own.

  16. heard it on the radio. thats nuts! must've had some good range to go over the hills. i see higher rates on their insurance.
  17. he is very lucky and at the same time very stupid. i work at a welding supply company and I ALWAYS tell the customer not to leave ANY cylinder inside there vehicle, that they should be transported in the back of a pick up and be strapped down so they dont roll around. i even inform them not to transport cylinders in cars or in the cabin as this can happen. but do people listen, NO! they still transport cylinders in their cars and or inside with them. heck even the ones that have trucks dont secure them even after i tell that is not safe to have them like that. it irritates me most when its a woman with her kids that bring cylinders. their stupid lazy husbands would rather put them in danger. im going to print that out and post it in my store. maybe then they will listen to me.
  18. honestly, i think the build off was a bit of a joke. the only one that built anything that can be called a motorcylce was jesse. pjd's project was more of an art piece and the so called "machine" was just that, a machine. if it was a fabricator build off then it would be a different story.
  19. nice! im part of the model scientist group. not affliliated with the sale dept though..lols how do you like them?
  20. that is just plain bad a!!!
  21. superb! all the attention to detail is just amazing. the valve step caps are just the icing on the cake, that or your just one those guys that escaped the looney bin...
  22. wait, i thought ramone was an impala not a hudson?..... looks great as a lowrider.
  23. wow bob, so quick to judge some j-tin, among other things. i own 2 toyotas, one 26 years old and the other 30 years old and yet they still have the original wheel studs...hmm foreign brand failure or just a noob that didnt know any better??? you tell me.
