  1. I think that was a design inspired by futurist Syd Mead, or at least he had a hand in presenting the design.
  2. Done. Whew. Beauty pics coming tomorrow after I sort through them and get them uploaded to Fotki.
  3. Different is good. Wouldn't mind seeing more pics.
  4. I think the honor system would suggest the cutoff time to be Friday, Dec. 1st, midnight PM in the time zone in which you reside, since that's probably how we all started. But I don't think anyone plans to police participants' time zones so as long as you're done by the time we rise the next morning, there shouldn't be any complaints.
  5. Sorry to hear that Karl. Would like to have seen that Camaro at the starting line. I've been sick for almost a week but I finally saw a doctor yesterday and with some horse pills I'm on the quick mend. I've dabbled with the corvette slightly but I've got all day today to work on it and plan to do a lot of catch up. Pics soon.
  6. Wow. I can't get past the word "beast." I think you're going to leave all of us behind on the central plains. Cool rig.
  7. Hands down the worst! If you're talking about box art and not the model itself, this is horrible. Terrible picture of the model, bad photoshopping and too much photobombing by the artist and/or his pals. The model takes up only maybe 18-percent of the cover from an angle you can't get much info from, for what? So the rest of space can be used to showcase this hack's artistic license?
  8. There are still albums I'd like o download from Photobucket. I was certain I'd grabbed whole albums before, but now I don't see it. Can anyone coach me how to do this without having to do it picture by picture?
  9. Well, the secret weapon is the Nitrous Turbolene Generator, which creates the fuel enhancement Turbolene on a mobile platform and is burned in a conventional internal combustion engine. I could go on, but it's all very technical you understand... very technical. I got very little done this weekend. With the exception of Thanksgiving family obligations, I've been in bed sick since Friday. Really rough cold or flu or something. But I did get another color on the Corvette body before all that.
  10. Jantrix can clarify, but I understand it to mean if you use more than one engine, all cylinders of those inliners must be in line, no?
  11. Don't forget the silent, lurking masses.
  12. It's squashed on my end too, but it's just because the photo is oversized. If you widen your browser window it fills out correctly. The Lincoln's definitely cool, but I love stylized look of the hot rod.
  13. But we won't hold you to that.
  14. Okay, this is right up there with the most out of the box ideas I've seen. Challenging too, to convince viewers how the centaur works. Bravo.
  15. One of the things I was hoping to see in Salt Lake this year was some of your work first hand and up close. Even though you make this stuff look easy, I know you draw from a lifetime of knowledge. So I know this will be a classic Teresi home run. I'll be following.
  16. Very exciting. Soon you'll be off to bigger and better things. Don't forget us little people.
  17. Always takin' it to the 9's eh Bruce? Amazing detail. Makes me feel like an apprentice... well that's true enough anyway. Engine in place. Chassis done. Body in first color, which will be mostly an accent color after it gets masked and the rest of the body is painted something else.
  18. Hey, if you can do it in exactly two weeks Matthew, knock yourself out. Be sure to show us your starting point.
  19. ...
  20. Flocked dash, heh, heh. The seats and belts are excellent. Can't quite make out the open box on the right.
  21. Interior is done. The black back end will not be seen. The only modification is a very important piece of scientific equipment. Very important. Body is in primer. Lots of work still left. Yikes!
  22. Any pics on how much it's warped? The best answer will depend on how much you have to correct.
  23. Yeah, I brush painted a 65 Chevelle wagon with Testors gold back in the 70s, it too never really dried. Early on I played with it and handled it a lot so it got tarnished and gross. Still have it though.
