  1. To your credit, you did a pretty good job. Though my opinion was it was doctored, I had to look pretty close to find the provable evidence on the car.
  2. Yeah, gonna have to throw the photoshop flag at that one, but it would be a pretty cool phantom.
  3. Another off-the-beaten-trail subject. A little thing like that, in 1/32 must really be small. Always fun to see things like this.
  4. Fine examples of some insightful building. Thanks for the pics.
  5. Looks pretty cool Gregg.
  6. Glad you took that sunlight photo. It really shows us the quality of that paint.
  7. Art, you're a lucky man to be in the cradle with some of the greats. Thanks for the pics, looks like a lot of hard work paid off.
  8. I'll take '66 Ponchos in any shape or style. Really like seeing this one built and yours looks great.
  9. Almost anything that got regular air play will have some value. But nobody will take the "old white people's" music; Ray Conniff Singers, Julie London, Johnny Mathis, Percy Faith, Henry Mancini, Roger Williams, almost anything that ends in "orchestra" except Electric Light.
  10. The surgery will be a snap, but that therapy will require a lot of patience. All the best.
  11. Harry's passing left such a chasm that I didn't for a minute expect his shoes to be filled and an issue out within a matter of a couple months. Though there are more obstacles, that one's a biggie.
  12. Jeez that rust looks good. Same with your whole intake system.
  13. I'm surprised the mix of parts go together that well. All of it looks pretty good. And isn't it liberating to throw care to the wind and let the model happen in whatever way it will?
  14. I like it.
  15. Just a risky gag Bill. But since you know I'm never (but ever) one of those pot stirrers I knew you'd give me the benefit of the doubt. I considered that you were offering a brilliantly wry joke. That you, one of the most esteemed members here and one of the most flawless in his shared knowledge, would offer an irk that sounds so much like the DK Effect generalizing that a DK Effect person would do. It's because it came from you specifically that made it so funny, perhaps knowing the learning-prone types would look up the DK Effect was the perfect punch line. It was still a pretty good post Bill. But go with me on this, it's a lot funnier as a very sophisticated joke.
  16. Jeez Bill, you made me look something up. Somebody stop imposing all this learning!
  17. Whoa, you've really done something significant here. Looks good, your mom will love it.
  18. Hmm. Not the worst Palmer kit I've ever seen. Especially in that scale. My very first car model ever, back in about 2nd grade was the Palmer 1/32 Mustang convertible. Even at that age it was a big disappointment, but so were my skills so they suited each other. The nice work you did on this could start changing people's opinions about Palmers .
  19. You always do very interesting projects. I like it.
  20. Fantastic! Really! And on a gold background. You thought of everything. What's not to like?
  21. I looked at this a long time, it has my attention. Nice work.
  22. You're partially right. My list does not include the many projects over the years I've started and walked away from. I consider my "in progress" projects the "A" list of things that keep coming back to the bench now and then or are currently on the bench.
