  1. Good luck. Show us some in-progress shots so we can see how it's coming along.
  2. Dave, I checked frequently for the paint and then kind of forgot about it. I was actually buying a can of Titanium Silver when I noticed it.
  3. Hi. TS-89 is Tamiya Pearl Blue. I can post a pic of the kit, but it would be easier if you just Googled Tamiya 20067. The kit is the Red Bull Racing Renault RB6. It's Sebastian Vettel's 2010 F1 ride.
  4. For anyone who may have purchased Tamiya kit # 20067 a couple of years back, I was finally able to find TS-89, which was made specifically for this kit, at Horizon Hobby. I apologize if this is old news. I haven't been keeping up on posts as much as I have in the past. I ordered it thru Horizon's storefront on eBay.
  5. Found the 1/12 Foose Camaro at Hobby Lobby in Bristol, CT and used a 40% off coupon. I was quite pleased!
  6. Dammit. I posted these under the wrong ID again. If there are any moderators here, can you tell me how to delete an account so I stop making this mistake? I have the IDs DanR and DanR67 and want to get rid of the one ending in 67.
  7. Well, I'll be going in prepared now, so hopefully I can overcome these issues. I like the large scale and clearly, if the kit is done right, it makes a nice looking model. Thanks for the info!
  8. Oops, I was logged in under a profile that I never use and created in error. Thanks for the info, Fred. Do you know if the same problems exist with the two Thunderbird kits?
  9. I don't know if anyone is even reading or responding to this thread anymore, but I was just able to score all 4 of the AMT 1/16 NASCAR kits on eBay for $100 (with free shipping). Each was factory sealed and I'm still surprised that I was the only one to bid on them! That aside, I'd love to know what specifically causes the ride height issues and what I should focus on to try to correct them. Thanks! - Dan
  10. Are you not able to mail order in China?
  11. Beautiful. Dave Marcis was a true underdog and he drove some of the best looking cars.
  12. I applaud Slixx for doing this sheet and not caving in to the current climate of stupidity that is infecting America.
  13. Beautiful work. Thanks for the info.
  14. What colors did you use for the red and blue?
  15. I think you've done a fantastic job here. And I agree, had you not shown the WIP photos, the decal damage would have gone largely unnoticed.
  16. Where do you get those bread crimp ends?
  17. Nice. I've considered ordering this kit.
  18. These are all very cool and beautifully built. Thanks for sharing.
  19. It's only in the early stages (no pun intended) and it already looks phenomenal. This is one to follow!
  20. I Keep hoping for the return of the Food Sierra RS500 kits. I missed a chance at both at an NNL East in the early 2000s and have regretted it since.
  21. Hi Mark. If your response was to my picture, thank you. The picture is over-exposed. I'm sitting here looking at the model and the red portion of the decals is a darker red. The blue is also darker than what shows in the picture. John, I think he was referring to the decals in his kit. I can see no hint of yellowing on your completed model.
  22. I like the reference to "Kragle." LEGO Movie fans will get it!
  23. I have all of these decals and sooooooo many more sitting in my hobby room. I will never build all of these stock car variations...
