One of the best builds in this scale. You are the man!The paint jobs are so much harder on the bigger scales, more area to make them. Someone told me, it is 8 times the volume so 8 times a 1;24 build. The 1;12 scale model is the GT 500 2010 but in the convertible style. So far i have been on my car for 7 months,Seems the car needs something(sounds like my ex wife)trying to get back into building it.losing a little intrest, trying to fire it up again 1 1 Here is a sneek peek of my GT 500 -
Very fun review. The kit has some errors but so what.I will buy it just because it is a Allison. I met Bobby Allison and Smokey at a PIR show here in reno. Had dinner with them and had a great time. The stories were great and the way they cheated was a blast to hear. My buddy Larry Paulson just built me a ford stroker when they did not have any such thing,It was a 351 windsor board and stroked to 418 cu.in. We had dodge rods with chevy hypertetic pistons arp bolts from Smokey and I put it in my 1966 GT 350 and it hauled the mail! Dyno was at 438 hp and 490 ft lbs. at 5600 rpm. And Smokey wanted to know how we did it. Now mind you this was in 1985. So we had a dinner and it was the most enjoyable motorsports dinner we have ever had.I learned a lot more from Smokey and later that week and using his bag of tricks we were able to pull around 500 hp and 550 ft lbs. Now this was in a car that weighed in at 2560 lbs at the scales. I was king of the hill in vintage racing because the techs thought i was running a 289. The give away is that i was pulling a 427 cobra and he could not shake me. Well no more of that back to tech inspect and was not legal no more. It was a great run,we scared alot of people, so I just ran it on the street. Still do to this day. Those Allisons and Yunicks know evertyhing about a motor,The greatest guys in the world rest in piece mr.Yunick your the best! I will be buying alot of these, just because,Have fun with this kit,I want to see it done!

Hello All, This is a Revell Cuda ,it is done in a different way. It has a viper suspension front and rear.Had to really modify the chassis. The 6 speed viper transmission had to go on the 426 hemi.We want a 200 mph car. This is what the guys from legendary motorcar has done. The Horrible live axel and the torsion bar front suspension had to go!So far This is what I have.Had a viper kit for the suspension and running gear oh and the brakes.Im using the wheels from the foose 37 ford kit mounted with pirelli zeros from a f-40 kit. Hope you like it so far

This last build was a very simple build. It is the color that makes it. Sunburst from house of color. The same paint that was mixed for the house of color for the transformers movie. Hope you like it.

Very Nice

I have real undertail of a 5.0 and they are somewhat the same. Brembo brakes and the like. Now that things are made the rest of the build will not take so long.Im hoping to make the NNL WEST, going to be very close.

It is a urethane clear. The mixing ratio is supposed to be 5 to 1 to 1, but for models I mix it 4 to 1 to 1. This makes it a little thinner and more to scale. 4 parts clear, one part hardner ,one part reducer.Automotive paint stores have small mixing cups with mixing ratios on the mixing cup.Hope this helps.

New kits with flaws.

You guys are doing a great job. Just like building models, sometimes things go wrong. Nothing is perfect in is world but people think just because you buy something it needs to be perfect. Really? Is your life perfect? Car? House? Get over it people and build it. Moebius Thank you for the kits! -
When is a build complete in your eyes?

I believe everyone posting here is right. But if you have ever owned a 1:1 hotrod, it is never done! -
