  1. Ok Ray, model factory hiro is releasing a cobra Daytona coupe in 1/12. Just what the Dr ordered to get the mojo back.
  2. Engine installed. So far this model is engineered well. The parts fit really nice. Starting to get into this rare car.
  3. Looks fantastic
  4. Great job!!!!
  5. Hey Chris , was great to have lunch with you. Did you fit all the Ferrari parts in your car? You’ll have to post that one
  6. More parts added to the engine. Pretty cool tech for the time.
  7. Absolutely beautiful!!!
  8. I did not realize that this kit is rare. I bought mine at a IPMS event in the Bay Area., $14. Because the engine block was glued together. Love the kit. If revell came out with another one I would buy a few. You will have fun and it’s going to come out nice. Cannot wait to see it.
  9. Thank you Ray, yes it fits real good so far. Weird subject. Not usually my cup of tea. As far as fit and finish goes, it’s right with the Toyota 2000 GT.
  10. Mazda rotary and transmission. The big rotary is comming along. The spark plugs light up. I don’t know why , but I’ll find out.
  11. On the subject of model burnout, I’m there right now. Just assembling 1/8 kits but nothing else. I do not know what happened, but the fire went out. Trying to get the fire back . Riding my e bike and doing other things right now. I hope your fire comes back as you are a great builder. But I understand, for now other interests look better.
  12. Oh yes , on that I believe when you put the spindles on they hold in place. Be careful with the spindle as Mark broke his during assembly.
  13. You will like this kit. Made one last year and the model kit is pretty good.
  14. Thank you Carl
  15. Not many parts
  16. Thank you Bainford. That decal ( more like an outline) is just there so you can put the pe emblem over it. I think it’s pe. Here is a pic of it. Have assembled the front suspension. Has adjustable shocks. So far it’s an easy assembly. The big motor is for display. It is not totally assembled yet. . Has batteries so it must do something.
  17. Looking good Ray!!!!
  18. WOW really cool.
  19. A DeAgostini 1/8 Mazda cosmo. 1967. Kind of a funky little car. Total 1967 Japanese design. Meaning it’s a little weird. The quality of the model seems pretty good but it’s early in the game. Here goes. It also comes with a rotary engine, a big one for display. Comes with one in the car also, here goes……
  20. Yes things need to fit on the real ones. Being in the auto body business since 1969 I have seen a lot of changes. Cars actually fit pretty good with so many parts today. In 1969 a ford truck bumper was 4 bolts and nuts, with a few washers, now it’s a lot more, with electrics, sensors, etc. fit is essential. But I get upset that a person is paying so much for what we call , Lego bricks and Tupperware. I guess it’s the same with the expensive models. When it fits it’s great but when it doesn’t, holly cow. Model Factory Hiro is cad designed but try to put one of those together without modifying a part for fit. I’ve built many and boy want to talk about fit. Although when finished it’s a thing of beauty. And they are expensive. Not many can afford these kits and it’s an exclusive club. Just like Ferraris and other super cars the price is high to get in.
  21. Yes sir I agree. For the price something’s should be worked out. We are modelers but they are business men. Most of the time the two get in the way. There is a balance of making a profit and what modelers want. I see a modelers side, but the making of these are very difficult. There are so many arguments on this. Big car manufacturers are the same way. What designers want and what accounting says , a settlement has to be made somewhere. It’s incredible that with so many people that the project gets off the ground.
  22. Agora 1/8 Lamborghini Miura. Out of the box. Or boxes. The car is a sexy car. The build is not for the shake and bake crowd. You have to modify a lot of things on this build. But the result is worth it. Hope you like.
  23. Thank you sir. My right knee might not need replacement if I use this thing. Been riding as much as possible And the doctor said if I do need a replacement that the operation will go a lot smoother. So here I ride. Some pics of the trucker river.
  24. I would like to say something about agora, as far as the big kits go, the company has their act together. Liam sincerely cares about the company. And my friend Mark is their new USA liaison.
