Was thinking the same thing

Yes I thought I might throw this out there and see a response. Redscampi is correct. It moves out of the way. Here is a pic of the truck. I got a kick out of it, the motorcycle was in the bed.

Starting to flatten out . The color is a Mazda color. The close up shows all the different colors in the paint -

Yup, just painted my 85 crx si. Grey with a flattening agent. Hopefully it will be satin or egg shell when it dries. Supposed to look like this when finished. -
1/12 MFH Essex Wire 427 Cobra
Brudda replied to 65slotcar's topic in WIP: Other Racing: Road Racing, Land Speed Racers
This looks great!!! I built one a little while ago. They are fun. Watch the right front suspension. When you put the body on the wheel/ tire seems to sit too far back. Best to check now . I had to fix mine. Hope you do not have the same problem. Just a heads up. -

I’m watching this!!! -
Cool build. This kit is pretty fun. A while back I won the 49 merc at a swap meet. Sat in my closet for a long time. I am into 30’s, 50’s and sixty’s cars. Not interested in 40’s cars. Well this Hobby is pretty cool. I built the 49 merc. I took about a dozen cars to the NNL West. And out of all of my cars , model car magazine wanted to take a pic of the 49 merc. I thought out of all of my cars they pic that one? Well you never know what is a hit. Soo the car gets into the magazine and is a big hit for our IPMS club. I guess I’m a 40’s car guy also. I will build another. They are pretty cool. Yours is a home run.

Here are wiring pics. It sure has a lot of them. The exhaust is installed. The dash is pretty cool. There is a switch in the ignition. The key actually works. Glove box door opens and closes. The center console opens and closes also. So far I’m very impressed with this kit.

Hello Bill, great to hear from you! I will be asking you questions on this one. Thanks for the input on this build. I’m waiting for the paint on this car. I ordered the paint from Wesco automotive products. This is a automotive paint supply. They are mixing the actual color code for a black 1955 Gullwing. Hopefully it will be here this week. As far as parts go, you can get the rest of the Eagle moss parts from agora. They will work. Here is what started the whole big scale build. A Toyota 2000 GT. It was featured in scale auto years ago. He gave it to me to see how far it would go. It also was the cover car for the NNL West in 2021 . I think it was 2021. So now I am building for DeAgostini and Agora. Kind of just lucked out. I custom paint some customer cars also when requested. The bendix yellow Toyota went to England I believe.

Hello Noel, I do not buy these expensive kits. My friend Mark is part of Agora (Liam’s team here in the USA. )I build them, review them and sometimes get to go all out on them. Mark lets me know what I can do. But I get to keep them. I just did the Lamborghini Miura and had to build it out of the box. (This kit is a difficult build. ). The Gullwing, I get to change the color. Black was suggested so black it goes. If you need to know if they are a good kit, I can help or Bill( Mr Obsessive) is very knowledgeable on these kits.

My Friend Mark just might have an extra chassis. He is going out of town for a week or so, but when he gets back he said he will look .

Red Bull RB8 Formula One
Brudda replied to Rich Chernosky's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Yes Rich, the scale is weird . It could be built as a remote control or static model. I built it static but with just a few mods you could turn it into a remote. If you did , it is supposed to go 30 mph.
