Håkan, never having seen the actual AMT Super Boss or Bandag Bandit kits, I cannot verify what you say about them having different cabs than the AMT W923/925 kits. I can say that the photo of the actual Super Boss shows it with the 1973-82 cab (since it is a 1974 Kenworth W900, the Bandag Bandit was a 1978 with square hedlights) while the AMT W923/925 kits have the 1968-72 cab. It wouldn't surprise me if AMT used the 1968-72 cab on the Super Boss & Bandag Bandit kits back in the day. I wonder how difficult it would be to convert the hood into a stock long hood for a W900L. Probably have to steal the hood from the Revell of Germany W900/T900 kit. Does the Super Boss kit come with a long hood? It looks like the actual truck in the picture might have a long hood. The kit does come with a Detroit Diesel 12V-71TT hooked to an Allison HT-750 5-speed automatic, right?
