Nice collection on Nissans. They're very cool. Closest IKEA to me id 4 hours in just about any direction, although there is a rumor that they are putting one in Syracuse someplace.

It was $140, and it does have a hinged plexiglass door on it. -

I also have one of these in my home office that I picked up from Amazon back in 2020 (photo from Amazon): I can get five 1/24 cars on each shelf, so it'll hold about 20 cars. I say "about" because obviously if your cars are smaller (like the Revell 1930 Ford Roadster, for instance), you'll get more per shelf. Here's the link: Display Case -
Beautiful Brockway. Very well done.

@bandit1 Get them directly from Pioneer Plastics. Might be less expensive in the long run. @Donny Thanks, Don. Here is where I got the idea from (with some modifications for 1/24 cars): Pop Culture Living Room Yes, that shelf is still to be built, plus the rack to left of the photo, and the rack that is off camera to the right. I'm going to be busy for a long time! -

For a long time, I just used 1/24 plastic display cases that you can get in bulk from Pioneer Plastics or individually from Hobby Lobby on shelves in my office & work area. As seen here: Recently, I converted a metal garage shelf to a display cabinet. Here is a WIP photo: Still working on how I want things arranged. Bottom shelf will be for some storage & all shelves can be wired for lights. -
Some nice-looking decals. What Porsche are the Marlboro decals for?

what is the largest 1/25 model kit ever sold?
Jim B replied to drugsarebad420's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
As far as individual truck kits, this thing is huge: Here is that steam locomotive that Mark mentioned: -
Does anyone know where I can find an equivalent for this: Most places seem sold out, and I don't think Hobby Design is producing it anymore. Thanks.

Revell & Atlantis at the IPMS National Convention 2025
Jim B replied to niteowl7710's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I'm not that bothered by the Mustang not having an engine as the kit is a snap kit designed for entry or less experience modelers. So, I get it, although the engine inserts are an interesting idea. I've seen them for some 1/35 kits. What I'm really hoping is that Revell doesn't mold this kit "in color", but I have a feeling that this kit & the Lamborghini will both be molded in color. The Lamborghini in yellow & the Mustang in the Dreaded Red Plastic for the same reasons that the kit doesn't have an engine. -
Beautiful Porsche. Very well done. I think it actually looks better without the wing.

Walt's even had an indoor track. Generally a good thing in Central New York. The photo of Walt in the beginning of the article is of him at his track. The used to have meets & all sorts of stuff there. They got rid of the railroad stuff about 15 years ago, and automotive model inventory was shrinking for Gundam. Armor & aircraft was small, and ships were basically nonexistent.
