  1. I think there's one of thise GG1 on display over at the New York State Fair Grounds.
  2. That's pretty cool! And it's one busy terminal.
  3. That looks really nice. It really captures the essence of Old San Juan. If the road was flatter I might have said New Orleans!
  4. It does make sense. I mean, why would you offer something for sale if you were only going to make one or two of them? Not worth the production costs. Now I don't travel the highways much, but when I do I try to take notice of the trucks. I think I've maybe seen three Argosys, and when I do it's like "Oh, my God! A cabover!" I actually stopped next to one at one of the NYS Throughway Plazas last year.
  5. I think you can still get the Argosy: http://www.freightlinertrucks.com/Trucks/Models/Legacy/Argosy
  6. Blue & Lime Green? Should be interesting.
  7. That looks like hell! But that's a good thing. Is that a Winn-Dixie Pez dispenser? I didn't know Winn-Dixie was in Australia. That's pretty cool. I worked for them when I lived in Miami.
  8. What a bizarre movie! The yellow Peterbilt 359 is really nice though. I think it starts the movie as a white Peterbilt 358.
  9. This one? http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truckkit_instructions/revell/7527-kenworth-orien/
  10. I thought the Mack R-Series from AMT was a 1975-79.
  11. That is one amazing model. Very detailed & realistic! The only problem I see is the solder's uniform: it's not WWII era. it's 1990s.
  12. I have no idea who "L'express du Midi" are, but they sure have some nice trucks!
  13. A guy on another board told me that Tamiya Metallic Blue X13 right out of the jar is a perfect match.
  14. Plaskit was supposedly working on one for this kit & the Revell USA W900 kit. Not sure of the status, though.
  15. Nice composition. I like the muddy road. Looks really wet.
  16. Nice little dio. Why is the car being pushed? Did it run out of fuel?
  17. Jim you are a man of few words, but many tallents. Looking good.
  18. This might help get you started: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm40_nov_1996_conve/
  19. Those look really nice! Now I'll just need to figure out where they go exactly.
  20. Sounds like an interesting project! Yes, there is a Cummins ISX out there. Auslowe sels it as the Signature600.
