  1. Perfect Plastic Putty and Vallejo putty are water based, so should have less of a smell. I have not used either one, so I suggest you look for reviews.
  2. That is cool! Nice job!
  3. I am new to this stuff as well, but I can offer a little info. I'm using all Createx products. For the Autoborne sealers, which are basically primer, I thin it with 4012 reducer. For the rest of the colors, They recommend adding 4030, which is a flow enhancer, and reducing with 4012. I have used the paints without the 4030 and they work fine, perhaps not as tough. One thing I learned the hard way: if you use the 4030, mix it well with the paint before adding the reducer, or the paint may break. There are a lot of helpful videos on the AutoAir site, and on Youtube. Your AB pressure will depend on the type of AB and the size of the needle/tip. I'm using a Badger 150 with the large needle/tip, and spraying at 20-25 psi. They recommend 30 psi, but I was getting a lot of tip dry and orange peel at that pressure. I'm still experimenting with that. Hope this is useful.
  4. I wish my models just "fell together" like that! Looks amazing.

  13. Thanks, Chris!
  14. Thanks, Terry! Thanks, David! Thanks, Bill! I had a love/hate relationship with this kit. A lot of the parts are beautifully molded and detailed. The problem was, some of them didn't fit, or had no way to accurately get them in position. Thanks, David! Thanks, Brian! Thanks, Helmut!
  15. Very nice. Gorgeous paint!
  16. You're doing a great job on that carbon! Any advice you can offer about it for when I start mine?
  17. Thanks, Sonny! Yes it is, except I had to make the headers on the transaxle side out of aluminum wire to get them to fit. Thanks Dann! I heard somewhere you're not a fan of red Ferraris. Thanks, Bruce! Thanks, Phil!
  18. Thanks, Anders! Thanks, Steve!
  19. Thanks, Jason! Thanks, Howard! Thanks, Larry! You're not kidding about the fussy part. Thanks, Gary!
  20. Fujimi kit. The paint is MM Cadmium Yellow with a bit of red mixed in.

  22. Mine reflects my inability to leave well enough alone!
