  1. Brilliant! I can't stop looking at it. The operator would need a good set of hearing protectors, and maybe a flak jacket!
  2. Dry sanding is what Createx recommends. It's worked well for me. One thing that's helped me a lot, I downloaded and printed the Createx "Hard Surface Application Guide" Good instructions that apply to all their paints.
  3. How rough is it? If it's just some orange peel, you can probably clear and sand. If it's "sandy", you can sand the color coat and respray another color coat. I have not tried Wicked, but Auto Air sands nicely with 1000 grit sandpaper used dry. Once you have it smooth, try respraying the color using very thin paint, applied in a few light coats. If you don't sand thru the color, it shouldn't take much paint to give a smooth, even surface. Then you can clear with whatever clear you like. I've had good results with Duplicolor Perfect Match clear, but I've also tried Krylon and Testors and both work fine. It takes some practice to get used to these paints, but once you do, I think you will like them.
  4. Thanks, Rusty! With different paint and some extra doodads, it would almost work in a Star Wars movie.
  5. Thanks, Jim! According to the info I have, maximum speed: 1200 mph. Small, light, and powerful, a sports car of the air.
  6. Thanks! I have been to that museum and seen the real one. That's part of what got me interested in this plane. Thanks, Ray!
  7. "Umm.....dude? I think you got the wings on backwards." Hasegawa 1/72 kit. A quick and fun build.
  8. Spectacular! Very crisp and amazing details throughout.
  9. Very nice! Great color for that car.
  10. As Tom and Earl mentioned, I get the best results resizing images in Word. I also have an Epson XP 400 series and as Dale said, it will not print on Papillio paper. It makes exactly the mess you showed in your picture. I have not tried it with other decal paper, since Papillio is all I have. It is definitely the printer because I can print the same file on my ALPS printer and it comes out perfectly. If Tom's suggestion of not using decal paper will work for you, it's worth a try. My Epson will print nicely on photo paper, and make a mess on decal paper.
  11. Especially since Tamiya made a very nice full detail kit of the Europa and it usually sells for less money than that.
  12. There's also the Lindberg kits, but I think those tires are bigger than 2-1/4". I think they're more like 3"
  13. Is that a stretch Reliant Robin?
  14. Wow! I thought it looked good in "Old Glory", I think it looks even better in green!
  15. I hesitate to comment on your models because anything I say may not do justice to the amazing level of work you do. It's fascinating to watch your machining/detailing/scratch building. The results are spectacular!
  16. Is there any difference between the Revell Germany kit and the Revell US kit? (Other than price.)
  17. That looks great. Awesome paint!
  18. Very well done!
  19. If nobody else wants those mags, I'll take 'em.
  20. Thanks, Phil! Thanks, Chris!
  21. That is an awesome model in every way. Well done!
  22. Thanks, Larry! Thanks, Jim. I know what you mean, these kits have some interesting parts, and they were really cheap at one time. I bought 3 of the "Off Road 4x4" F-150 kits for parts. Thanks, Ray! Thanks, Keith!
