  1. Thanks, Ismael!
  2. Awesome job! The paint looks great. How did you do the tire lettering? It looks perfect.
  3. Those are cool. They look really basic, but you did a nice job fixing them up.
  4. Thanks, Keith! Thanks, David! Thanks, Chris!
  5. Revell kit. I did this one for a buddy that has a 1:1. OK, it's not really a 2000, it's a 2004 ZO6, which means I had to fill in the rear vents. My buddy says it's close enough. The paint is Testors square bottle Silver. Thanks for looking.
  6. Sorry, I posted by mistake.
  7. Excellent trade with afx. Thanks, JC!
  8. I have a few of the Paasche bottles with the metal cap. Those caps have a threaded nipple held on with a nut, so they can be removed and put on another cap. I put one on a MM lid. I have had no problem using them with my Badger 200 and 150.
  9. Had a great trade with Sam I Am. Thanks, Sam!
  10. Awesome! Looks way better than a stock T-Bird.
  11. Spectacular! It's been inspiring to watch you make all the tiny details you've added to this car. A true masterpiece.
  12. What an awesome machine! Thanks, Bill.
  13. Thanks Rusty! I need more challenges, I have lots of room to improve. Thanks, Bruce! I have never heard four Merlins, but we occasionally get flyovers with four Wright radials. What a wonderful sound!
  14. Awesome! I'm working on the hardtop version, so I have a good idea how much work you put into that. The paint is gorgeous, and the extra detailing really paid off.
  15. I had the same idea after touring the inside of a B-17. They were truly the Greatest Generation. Thanks, Peter! Thanks, Nick!
  16. Thanks, Ken! Thanks, Snake! Thanks, Scott! It is! Thanks, Dave!
  17. This kit thoroughly challenged my limited skills, but I guess it came out OK.
  18. Brilliant! I can't stop looking at it. The operator would need a good set of hearing protectors, and maybe a flak jacket!
  19. Dry sanding is what Createx recommends. It's worked well for me. One thing that's helped me a lot, I downloaded and printed the Createx "Hard Surface Application Guide" Good instructions that apply to all their paints.
  20. How rough is it? If it's just some orange peel, you can probably clear and sand. If it's "sandy", you can sand the color coat and respray another color coat. I have not tried Wicked, but Auto Air sands nicely with 1000 grit sandpaper used dry. Once you have it smooth, try respraying the color using very thin paint, applied in a few light coats. If you don't sand thru the color, it shouldn't take much paint to give a smooth, even surface. Then you can clear with whatever clear you like. I've had good results with Duplicolor Perfect Match clear, but I've also tried Krylon and Testors and both work fine. It takes some practice to get used to these paints, but once you do, I think you will like them.
