  1. Stopped at HL yesterday and these followed me home. I hadn't seen the Boss anywhere locally yet. They had the Owens on clearance, Mountain Goat, 1/32 firetruck as well. Might check another store today. I didn't need another Fairlane, but I couldn't help myself at the price. Wish they had the Monte Carlo. It's the only example I know of that has a correct 69-up big block.
  2. I pretty much look at new posts on the same subjects that many of you have mentioned. One difference is where I am when I view the forum. If I am at work, I either skip the under glass and workbench because my work blocks image sharing sites and many of you use Fotki, etc. I wait until I get home to look at them. I never look at drag racing and only look at NASCAR if I see a subject line that interests me (1960s -1974ish).
  3. Did you know that the LH Platform cars were based on the Renault 21/25 ?
  4. Thanks guys. My brain wasn't fully engaged either. The box is covered with Japanese writing, but it says "Aoshima" on the lower corner of the back.
  5. Can someone tell me which Skyline curbside kit this engine insert is for?
  6. After watching HPIGUY's video, I have decided that I don't need it. I didn't get the Hemi version either. I have a friend with a 1:1 '70 Barracuda Gran Coupe, and I cannot unsee the kit's fender lips. YMMV.
  7. Miles, if you are talking about the ex-Monogram 1/24 GMC that was most recently released as the plow truck, I am fairly sure that I have a spare cab. PM me if you want me to look for it.
  8. Make sure that your car is locked in bear country. The ones in Tahoe, Colorado, (and probably other places) have figured out how to open car doors from the outside. What they HAVEN'T figured out is how to open the door from the inside to get themselves back out. The results aren't pretty.
  9. Thanks guys. This is a 70s AMT interior bucket that was sprayed blue with TS-something. Alcohol, Super Clean, brake fluid, oven cleaner hasn't budged it. Just want to change the color. It's so lightly engraved that I don't want to put more paint over it if I can get what's there off.
  10. Anyone use this stuff on Tamiya? I have an interior bucket that was sprayed with Tamiya without primer and I can't find anything that will budge it.
  11. I ordered a chicken and an egg from Amazon. I wonder which one will come first?
  12. I have never used it over anything other than black that I wanted to make flatter.
  13. As much as we poop on Testor's here, the old school Dullcote works pretty well.
