  1. Leftovers ! Made a kind of shepherd's pie with leftover turkey and mashed potatoes. Made a roux with chopped onion. Added half and half and chicken broth. Chopped turkey and diced carrots. Because we are weird in California and my spouse doesn’t really like peas, a handful of shelled edamame was added. Into ramekins with mashed potatoes on top. Bake until it bloops, then broil to brown the mashed potato topping. Oh, salad leftovers from a bag, and fermented grape juice (from France )
  2. Tomales Bay last July.
  3. Heart attack on a plate with sea cockroaches. Fermented fruit juice. Garlic bread.
  4. But you still have to clean it up.
  5. Bill, I had always assumed that you started building as a kid. I had no idea that you were a late bloomer.
  6. boneless chicken ranch
  7. Or for $3.95, you can get one of Kris Morgan's resin 727s and use the kit engine. http://www.madmodeling.com/Item/mopar727
  8. for future installation

  11. Those were Post, and you didn't assemble them. The Mini Lindys were the only ones to my recollection that you had to assemble, other than some larger Whacky Racers that were mail order from some cereal.
  12. I remember getting Mini Lindys by mail, but it was probably from Kellogs. Two cars and a garage. I don't remember cars from Life, but my memory isn't the greatest either.
  13. I had a 60s gas station that you put water in one of the pumps. One of the cars had a hole in the trunk lid that allowed you to put "gas" in it. IIRC, it had a pin on the hood like these. It pushed out a plunger on the bottom so you could drain the "gas" when you were done playing with it.
