Same here. I have served on several juries, and it is serious business. I was on a felony case a few years ago where the prosecutor swung for the fence charge-wise. The investigation was bungled and the witness' testimony was largely laughable. We wound up finding the defendants (2) not guilty. It was pretty obvious that the defendants expected to be found guilty and had looks of total surprise when the verdict was read. After the trial, the prosecutor cornered the jury in the hall and asked some questions of us. As it turned out, what he thought really happened is also what the jury thought happened, but he tried to prosecute it differently and wound up not being able to prove any of it. The prosecutor lives in a neighboring county, and he has been trying to get elected as a judge there on a tough law and order platform.

Tonight's dinner. Hung out with old (er) folks at the Cracker Barrel that recently opened. Even the old people said the food was bland. At least it was cheap. Mashed potatoes were ok, and the chicken fried chicken wasn't horrible.

I have been a little bit behind in posting in this thread. Friends came over last Saturday. Ribeye steaks on the Weber, rock lobster tails under the broiler, baked potatoes, green beans. My apologies for the two glasses of chardonnay on the table and the A1 for the guest who likes medium well meat.

Wonder if you could use it to straighten a warped acetate promo?

Yeah, the meat looks dry. I bought a pressure pot a few years ago. Works great for meat. Nice and tender in 45 minutes. Take the already tender meat and put in with your veggies/potatoes and cook until the veggies are done. Meat comes out like it has been slow cooked for hours, and the veggies aren't over cooked.

Fill it with putty, prime, install Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Michigan plates and call it a day. -

The lame place that now is the only LHS in my metropolitan area of 2.66M people carries these. There are several in 1/24 scale. I have been tempted at the $60 price, but haven't brought one home yet -

The Living Desert near Palm Springs has a huge (3/4 acre) outdoor G-Scale layout that is great fun to just stare at for hours, LOL. Not a train person myself, but as others have said, I appreciate things done in miniature (even doll houses). http://www.livingdesert.org/plan-your-visit/things-to-do-and-see/g-scale-model-train-display/ The Living Desert is a fantastic place to visit, and the trains are the icing on the cake. -
