I have purchased from him (once) and was pleased with the quality. He offers one for your Eldo.

I don't want to rekindle THAT discussion, but I would use Revell Chrom myself if I couldn't get a replacement tree. Round2 is still selling the kit, hopefully they can help you and you won't have to worry about long-term durability.
-
See if Round 2 will replace the tree?

Ya, we got the single throttle body version like the M50-52. ROW got the inDUHvidual throttle bodies like a proper S50-52.

This was an MPC "tip" from the 1970s when they started putting the Goodyear Polyglas tires with the exaggerated sidewall letters in the annual kits. 50 years later, I know why my attempts with non-shiny cardboard and Testors white enamel never turned out like I hoped, LOL.

The Thermo-Lag, LOL. Agree that it is needed for the Demon and some of the other Mopars we have been seeing lately.

I visited the HL that I go to the most yesterday. Their usual model aisle was nearly taken over by diecast cars. The 1/25 model cars were down to 9 at the very lower left, plus the AMT 1/16 '55 Chevy. They had another dozen or so 1/25 on a nearby "overflow" display. I had a Demon in my hand for a few minutes, but decided to put it back.

Atlantis Models has bought another lot of tooling/molds.....

Fast forward a few decades, and I think the hot setup would be to strip the plating, attach the trim, paint, then BMF. Especially if you use the Bel Air trim on the '56. -

Sorry, no pics, but I went to the local Lowes last weekend and came out to see a late Model T phaeton in the parking lot. All shiny black and over restored, but stock. Saw it again a couple days later driving and was amazed to see a guy around 45-ish behind the wheel. On my way home from the office today there was a brightly colored Frito-Lay semi on the freeway. At the last minute I realized that it was was a Tesla semi with a yellow and orange wrap to match the trailer. -

Small block Chevy engine with A/C compressor.
Rodent replied to Kevinch's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
^^ What Sean said. That's a factory A/C car with a modern compressor and R-134a conversion. Model Car Garage has a PE fret with A/C outlets. You could probably use those and some tubing to make the dash vents or something close. -

"Like" shouldn't be peppered through a run-on sentence as a replacement for the rare and endangered comma.

funny looking people shouldn't be pointed out and laughed at.

Is this common?
Rodent replied to Earl Marischal's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I can do it! My Mazda 3 6MT has Android Auto. Just push a button on the steering wheel and talk. ? -
