  1. Over easy is how I like eggs, but overly sneezy kinda rhymes and describes how i am feeling.
  2. Bill paying is my least favorite household task.
  3. Josh Atkinson / Venom and Lee Kirchner / Keyser are folks I really miss as well. I don't think I ever saw any of Dr. Kirchner's models, but he seemed like a really class act and I enjoyed his 1:1 car discussions. I am a little surprised that there weren't any "Where's Snake" posts earlier. I ASSumed that he had been given a timeout, but I am very sad to hear that he passed.
  4. Heads covered with nits (nitheads) may be treated with permethrin.
  5. Pretty cool Pat! I looked at this online and it appears to be 1/24 scale. How much paint is it going to require, or is it well molded in colour?
  6. There was this version before the racer.
  7. "Pile in" is what my childhood neighbor said to his 12 kids whenever they went somewhere in the Plymouth station wagon.
  8. Ouch. I had the original issue in my hand at the LHS several times. I finally decided it wasn't worth $69.99 to me.
  9. "Road to Heck (or similar) is paved with good intentions", was often quoted by my late non-sainted mother.
  10. amongst sulfuric odors
  11. Parked my little smile-inducing daily driver away from the mob this afternoon at Home Depot. Returned to my car, and a 5'4" 200 lb driver was extracting himself from this compensation-mobile in the next space. He rolled coal at me with his eyes. I was happy to see license plate frames from a local dealership that is known for overcharging for third rate garbage and spearing people with high interest rates on used vehicles. Hopefully he will be underwater with this pile until 2028 or so.
  12. At the risk of a ban-stick, but.... Since ED drugs weren't around then, why wouldn't have Grandpa splurged on Rallye or Magnum wheels for his 318 car? They weren't that expensive....LOL
  13. I was on the "notify" list at Burbank's, and they did get some. I ultimately decided not to order one when I received the notification.
  14. John, I would direct these questions to MCW. Their site seems to be almost completely lacking in product use information. I have never purchased from them, but are their paints supposed to be ready to spray or ??
  15. Day 2 is how I like to build my musclecar models, with aftermarket wheels and ignition parts.
  16. But it would be in Modeler's Hades. You could have all the MPC 67 GTOs you wanted, but there would be no Revell '66 GTOs to rob parts from.
  17. Dave's was an earlier build than mine. His quarter panels were different, with stamped indents so that the marker was semi-flush. Mine just had two holes. The marker was actually a Cougar part. "Officially" they made the change on 2/15/1968, but I find it hard to believe that all three body styles and all three plants switched over on the same day. Fun fact: The Revell fastback has the earlier marker which is correct if you build it as the Cobra Jet drag car. All of the "street" Cobra Jet GTs were built after the changeover, so they should have the Cougar marker.
  18. A not-so-tall filter and a Mustang Boss 429 scoop?
  19. https://www.thefamilyparmelee.com/o-obits1997.html
  20. The shape of the top of the quarter panel is different between the coupe/convertible and fastback as well. It's not just the roof. Former owner of a '68 coupe myself, I would love a kit!
  21. I think the FHP color is more of a tan than the "warm white" of the Tamiya paint.
  22. OK, thanks.
