It's cool that they did this, but I can't unsee the grille on this or the Fords. -

I don't know if you follow the off-topic forum or not, but Carl posted that he has fallen several times. I don't know how soon he will be back on the board to answer your questions.

"Silver Strand" is Sherwin-Williams' color of the month for May. It too is a green-grey shade. Pretty popular right now.

Next door neighbor has a Cactus Grey Ranger and a neighbor around the corner just adopted a Cactus Grey Maverick. We are beginning plans for a kitchen remodel, and we are considering a similar color for the cabinets.

About all the outpouring of love for Snake , , ,

Josh Atkinson / Venom and Lee Kirchner / Keyser are folks I really miss as well. I don't think I ever saw any of Dr. Kirchner's models, but he seemed like a really class act and I enjoyed his 1:1 car discussions. I am a little surprised that there weren't any "Where's Snake" posts earlier. I ASSumed that he had been given a timeout, but I am very sad to hear that he passed. -

Pretty cool Pat! I looked at this online and it appears to be 1/24 scale. How much paint is it going to require, or is it well molded in colour?

"Pile in" is what my childhood neighbor said to his 12 kids whenever they went somewhere in the Plymouth station wagon.

Ouch. I had the original issue in my hand at the LHS several times. I finally decided it wasn't worth $69.99 to me.

"Road to Heck (or similar) is paved with good intentions", was often quoted by my late non-sainted mother.

Parked my little smile-inducing daily driver away from the mob this afternoon at Home Depot. Returned to my car, and a 5'4" 200 lb driver was extracting himself from this compensation-mobile in the next space. He rolled coal at me with his eyes. I was happy to see license plate frames from a local dealership that is known for overcharging for third rate garbage and spearing people with high interest rates on used vehicles. Hopefully he will be underwater with this pile until 2028 or so.
