  1. Maybe the one on the header here? I remember this as well. I bought a new Mustang about a month later.
  2. The Thermolag is a spreadbore with a thermoplastic float bowl. It looks quite a bit different from the AFB/AVS series.
  3. Texas 3D also has a "Firepower" Hemi, stock and with two Holley 4-barrels.
  4. operators are standing
  5. Looks like the 71 Charger has a similar one to the Duster.
  6. illegally parked tricycles
  7. Kris Morgan makes a 727 with a separate pan if you want to go that way. https://madmodeling.com/Item/mopar727
  8. I bought a bottle of SMS Hyperchrome from them. I would buy from them again. Not sure where else to get it.
  9. "Em" is what my dad's family called my cousin Emma, but since they are Southerners, it seemed to be in three syllables.
  10. We were amused to see this during an Ontario trip some years back.
  11. Similac, vodka, and Kahilua makes a disgusting White Russian
  12. I have never owned an "easily" modeled car, but I do have a 1/43 diecast of my current daily driver on my desk at work. Pic from da interwebs.
  13. Principal's pet gerbil
  14. Ugh. Well, they SHOULD be 8 lugs.
  15. This maybe?
  16. I have bought from Mark Twain Hobby on e-Pay and will also vouch for them. That is the way I found Burbank's House of Hobbies as well. They both have websites and would probably appreciate not having to pay fees to eBay. https://www.hobby1.com/ https://houseofhobbies.com/
  17. I don't recall why, but I bought one for my Dad and Mom. I believe that my Dad thought they were interesting, but the real answer is lost to history. He (they?) lived on the coffee table and was frequently chatty since he was within earshot of the TV. After Mom died, Dad enjoyed talking with him. Furby would sit silently on the table but would suddenly wake up and talk when you least expected it. After Dad died (Furby must have witnessed it) I brought Furby to my home. He never said anything again, even with new batteries. It seems like he died with my Dad. Too weird to comprehend.
  18. Mine arrived in NorCal today.
  19. Please get the recommended number of smoke / CO detectors for your layout and install them immediately.
  20. Me too!
  21. Or you can order them online from the Post Office and they just magically appear in your mailbox. Another advantage is if you want some of their special stamps, you can get them.
  22. I like it as well. The only complaint I have is that the spray nozzle is leaking underneath. To me, it is a little warmer than kit chrome, so it looks more like an actual piece of chrome plated steel.
  23. I am not a coffee snob by any stretch of the imagination, but I rejected the Mr. Coffee (etc.) coffee makers a long time ago. The first cup tastes good, but after the leftovers have been kept at 190 degrees or so (I have measured the temp) the second cup just tastes burned to me. I switched to a French press and just made one or two cups at a time. Now I am using a pour-over system and just make one cup if for me or two if we both want some. Additional cups are easy to make if you want seconds. You can heat the water in a tea kettle on the stove, but we have an electric one that plugs in. No moving parts, and I throw the used grounds on the azaleas and camellias.
  24. disassemble their gluebombs
