Don't want to be Grumpy Cat, but.... I visited my normal (but not favorite) HL last Saturday evening with the idea to buy two Revell kits that I decided I needed since it was 40% off week. As I walked in, the two checkout lines each much have had 15 customers waiting. I had to pee, and there are enough unhoused folks in the area now that you need an employee to give you the code to the restrooms now (new to me at this location). No employees available anywhere of course. I looked at Amazon and discovered that I could have both of these kits delivered to my door for about $2/kit more than I could get them from HL for and I wouldn't have to waste 20 minutes of my life behind Karens with overflowing shopping carts arguing about 50 cents on some dried flowers. Done. $39.95 minus 40% is not a deal for reissued Revell kits.

Its farts would probably smell like burning wires. -
Children should be not seen, not heard, and preferably composted before school age. (Of course I don't really mean this. Just SOME children)

At least it's not under your butt, over your legs, or in the pickup cab with you anymore. I survived 5 years in a Squarebody GMC with dual sidesaddle tanks without blowing up and burning to death, but that was probably because no news network planted pyrotechnic devices when I wasn't looking. -
I can't answer your question, but I have had the same issue with Tamiya rattle cans for over a year now. It makes me sad because they used to be a no-brain way to an excellent paint job.

IIRC, at least the '72 has the option of a 4-speed, so you can still build the kit after you steal the TH400.

Every year during pupping season, someone panics over the "Satanic Worshippers" shredding the neighborhood feral cats.

Mitsubishi or solar?

I do too, except The Muscle Car Modeler. I like seeing what he has done with some of the old annuals and the talk track helps.

What did you see on the road today?

Saw a 1971 GMC Sprint on the way home yesterday. No pics unless I go through the dashcam. Looked to be recently purchased from a Grandpa, or maybe Grandpa was still behind the wheel? -
Not today, but Saturday. I received a call from a cousin in Alabama that I haven't seen or talked to since 1975. No fights or anything, just drifted apart I guess. I figured that is was a "somebody died" call, but it was anything but. She said that she and her sister and their husbands were going to be in California for a few weeks and she wanted to catch up. They were coming out because her son Riley Green was playing down in Indio and here in Sacramento. I am not a country music fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I kind of like his music. I was given an Artist Guest armband and had unlimited access to the entire park with his parents and my other cousin and her husband. We hung out with Riley for a bit on his personal tour bus, and had to watch the concert from a really crummy vantage point ?. After he performed, we hung out some more and I was gifted "merch" and an autographed set list. He didn't have much time to hang out, but they all (including his crew) made me feel like a real V.I.P. I must have been asked 10 times if I was from Alabama, and had the standard line: "No, The Air Force send Dad to California, he met Mom, and they got married. After he got out, he wanted to go home, but she refused so they settled in California and I came along 8 years later." Riley is a car guy as well. If you have seen the 85 LeBaron woody convertible or any of the GM squarebody trucks in his videos, they are his. I commented that the LeBaron was "kinda random" and his mom replied that Riley is kind of a random guy, LOL.

Lots of great advice in this thread, but this IMHO is the best one (especially if you sleep in the nude with a partner) -
