  1. Steve, I have never seen this on the shelf in the USA (California). If I did, I would probably buy it since I occasionally clean the oven as well ?
  2. OK, now go play Powerball!
  3. smelling really bad
  4. There are maybe 100 times more books than models in this house, just sayin...... No complaints about the models, some complaints about the books.
  5. ten incontinent elephants
  6. You may have to redesign this when the John Wick kit comes out. I believe that Steve G. said that the grille fit was "improved" or something like that. Not sure if that means that the nose was modified, the grille was modified, or both.
  7. I bought some matte black Chartpak graphic art tape from Amazon in hope to find a better solution for the hood paint on the Revell 69 Boss 302 and 71 Boss 351. It looks nice, but I haven't tried it yet. It's available down to 1/64 inch.
  8. Sorry that this is a bit blurry, but this is an AMT '59 Ford bumper that had decent chrome, but was slightly abraded at the top. I did a little cleanup with 600 grit and shot the Revell "Chrom" over the kit chrome. I find it to be a bit warmer than kit chrome, but in my eye it is a more realistic finish for a chrome bumper than kit chrome. Living dangerously, I overcoated it about 90 days later with SpazStix clear, and it still looks good to me. Conversely, I shot the taillight bezels with the Chrom, and they turned out too shiny to my eye for a part that I believe was anodized aluminum (anodised aluminium), so I gave them a light spray of Dullcote and they are still kinda bright. As a sidenote, pre-COVID, I worked with one of Dale's sons out here in California. He was a model guy as well, but Tamiya racing cars and things like that. He really wanted Dale to teach him the vacuum plating process and maybe take over, but the logistics of Pennsylvania to California was a bit of a problem. Not long after we transitioned to working from home in March 2020, he resigned and I have not seen or heard from him since.
  9. Seller is Mastercaster from Glendale, Arizona. That is Greg.
  10. Devil's advocate here: It doesn't look too bad as it is, and I am certain that you will burn through the paint if you try to polish it. My suggestion is to leave it alone until you can get the supplies you need to polish, then practice on spare bodies/hoods/etc. until you get comfortable with the process.
  11. Look on the bright side: You won't need a dehydrator.

  15. American blind justice Judge James Hannon Founder After graduating magna cum laude from Boston University Law School in 1935, James Hannon opened his law practice at 71 Main St, Lee Massachusetts. James Hannon was appointed Judge and served in the Lee District Courts in MA throughout the 1960's. In 1969, Judge Hannon portrayed himself in the movie Alice's Restaurant. Like the song goes, he was the blind judge who found Arlo Guthrie guilty of littering and made him pay a small fine for the crime. His seeing eye dog Susie accompanied him in Courtrooms as well as on movie sets.
  16. He sent a completely wrong color one time and very quickly shipped a replacement. Definitely a great guy to do business with.
  17. I have this kit, and I opened the box but that is about it. Some Fireball steelies, dog dish hubcaps, and Radial T/As were tossed in the box and put away. That said, I don't know what you are talking about because I haven't looked at the kit very hard. I was a kid when the cars were new, and living in California, I still occasionally see them on the road. My uncle Earl had a '73 Gold Duster slant 6, and my cousins and I were delighted that the driver's bench seat headrest hit the horn button when folks were exiting the rear seat. It always scared my grandmother. Your post makes me want to dig the kit out of the stash and look it over. The box art makes the C-pillar look "chunky".
