  1. The first time I read what you wrote I had a completely different idea of what you were saying...... Don't see too many 65 Chevelle posts anymore, especially with 65-66 vintage black plates.
  2. John, did you foil the insert first and then go back over with the chrome on the moldings? Is there a seam in the foil on the moldings around the insert?
  3. It would be nice if someone would come up with 98-up S-10 interior parts and a rear bumper. Dash and door panels are different than what is in the AMT kit.
  4. closed on Thanksgiving
  5. Obviously we don't know what is going on with COVID, but when and if we get back to working from the office regularly, we NEED one of these tracks in our game room.
  6. Charles Schultz did
  7. Not offbeat, but my mom's uncle lived near a Woolco. They always had a decent selection of discounted kits (never pay sticker price) and a side trip there was a treat after hanging out with Joe and Anna.
  8. Paging Ed Fluck, Jr??? I am sure there are more than just one modeler who wants side panels on this kit.
  9. lint collection hobby
  10. Bob Ross would call that "A Happy Accident". It looks great, and I agree that it probably looks better than foil on the kit nub.
  11. I think this kit lost its molded-in exhaust when it became a modified stocker and they had to tool a new system when it was put back as a street car.
  12. The spouse planned an East Coast fall color trip in 2016. One of the stops was Lenox, MA. Once I found out how close we were going to be, I requested a side trip to Stockbridge and Great Barrington (Arlo owns the church where Alice and Ray Brock lived). Great fun!
  13. across your knuckles
  14. Hope so. I have several sets, but they are perfect for the kind of "day 2" cars that I favor.
  15. Yesterday, actually. This old beast looks pretty good for its age. Obviously a repaint, but it is surprisingly straight and non-rusty.
