Being molded in red the orange should cover. I would use Tamiya white primer lightly before any color. one sure way to stop the red from bleeding through is painting with silver as a base then primer and then your color. if you want to just try the Green spray the underside of the hood with Tamiya primer and after it dries spray your orange or green on the underside of the hood. When dry you should have your answer...

Harry, you may be right but why is revell coming out with new tooled kits? I would think so many of us older builders would be keeping the model market strong....
