  1. Got these three in the mail Wednesday
  2. It is in the FAQ drop-down
  3. Calling #2 DONE
  4. I should have kept my slot car jigs. Look up slot car chassis jig, especially for drag cars, it's a longer unit.
  5. How do you determine a high def. imagine?
  6. My friend that casts, experienced this when his material was shipped during the winter and must have had a prolonged stop along the way. It works out just fine.
  7. Thanks, really enjoyed building them. Love seeing the car in person, wish I could afford to bring home with me. I didn't plan ahead, now I'm searching my kits for two the NHRA window decals and some more large Pennzoil for the rear window...the last one I had from Slixx fell apart.
  8. Good evening all! Glass installed, body is mounted, steering attached, bumper installed. Decals are next!!
  9. Maybe just having web based problem, hopefully someone knows or can reach him.
  10. Before it's all gone? Is it being discontinued?
  11. Not listed on their website yet!...Darn.. Found link on Facebook...
  12. Ditto on this process!!
  13. BMF complete, taillights added
  14. Getting the details done..
  15. Take a look at Scenes Unlimited, his tires are of great quality!
  16. Nice work!! This is one of my favorite car/paint scheme combos.
  17. As I do a side by side comparison of the 1:1 and the resin, moving the B pillar an 1/8, or at all is not the issue. Actually the whole section between the B and C pillars is a bit too long. So a body sectioning would be in order to make it correct, but I would have to take measurements from the 1:1 to verify.
  18. It is a rendition of the Ring Brothers Javelin. It's well done, but many areas of detailing I want to do.
  19. Some pics of one cleared and polished body. I still see some polishing marks, will have to go over it a bit more.
  20. Test it on something. I have a supply of plastic spoons for that reason. I also keep them as reference, noting the base coat and actual color.
  21. Well I will keep this as reference, but even more recently, someone mentioned a grey. Thank you!!
  22. Recently someone asked about painting over red. A reply was made about using a particular grey, I believe being a military color. Can anyone recall or respond to what that might be? I would like to give that a test. Thanks, Karl
  23. I bought the car tire/wheel package, those are very nice, even for resin tires. The truck rims are nicely detailed, but are very thin. In fact, he had to replace one set because they were void of material and broke away easily. He promptly replaced them, but installing them into the tires will take a little precaution. I plan on coating mine with the thin CA to give them some backbone.
  24. Not a lot to show right now, I cleared the front clip underside, let it sit for a few weeks (while finishing details of our wedding...), and am now wet sanding both bodies. Thanks for watching!
